Function test scores

Everyone knows that tests are usually bogus, but I want to address them anyway. Why do some people score high in a function that their type is supposed to be low in? Like an ENTP scoring high in Si, or an INFJ scoring high in Se.

Taking this test, I scored highest in Te, and then Ni, or Fi. How did I score high in Te, as well as Fi?
Why do function tests do that?

If you took the test yourself, these are my scores:

Si - 8
Se - 8
Ni - 13
Ne - 11
Ti - 12
Te - 14
Fi - 13
Fe - 8

Te - Fi - Ni - Ti - Ne - Fe - Se - Si

Lol there was one where it was measuring Ni through stuff like "have you had moments of revelation?" And even though I use Ne, I have had it. Probably not the same as what an Ni-user would experience, but my point is these are just questions, and it helps to see why they ask what they do. I think they are bad questions though, because a lot of people get confused after taking cognitive functions tests. In the end I have found that reading good articles on the function helps more than any test. There are ones you are going to resonate with very naturally and easily. The inner experience is spread across time and more holistic than a few questions can really gauge. That's why it helps to read more than just a few words, and experiences of people who use that function.

INFJ-MBTI Tumblr test:
Si: 12
Se: 16
Ni: 9
Ne: 12
Ti: 14
Te: 13
Fi: 15
Fe: 8

Se-Fi-Ti-Te-Ne=Si-Ni-Fe

Compared to other function based tests and my most frequent dichotomy based test results…
Similarminds: Se-Ne-Ti-Fe=Fi-Ni-Te (ESTP or ENTP)
K2C: Se-Ti-Fi-Ne-Fe=Si-Te-Ni (1st-ESTP, 2nd-ISTP, 3rd-ESFP)
Celebrity Types: Se-Fi-Ti-Si-Fe-Te=Ni-Ne (ESTP or ESFP)
Dichotomy based tests (Most frequent result): ISTP

This test fits my pattern of high Se, Ti, and Fi. On this test I relate very strongly to question 9 (more so than any other question...it was my only 5). I remember telling a family member that I had to get out of my head because it was depressing me and really needed to start to live life by experiencing the world when I was going through a very rough time.

Took the test. My thoughts are there were not enough questions for one and two they were too broad and transferable to another type....

Exhibit A:
I would consider myself a realistic person, good at recognizing what needs to be done in situations and actually implementing it.
This was categorized as a Te question. Well I put 5 down for that, why because well any ST could easily do that. Which means its not Te or Ti and something should more direct to Te should have been put to represent Te there.

Exhibit B:
I prefer brainstorming various options and envisioning all the possible ways a project/event could go rather than committing to one idea and sticking with it.
When I consider the future, I think about all the disparate ways a situation could unfold. I anticipate every different situation without worrying about which is the best or most accurate.
I recognize that there are many “truths” in life, and none of them are absolute over the others. I appreciate each perspective for its own individual frame of mind and ideas.
Se & Ti can do all those things. ^ But that is supposed to be identifying Ne.
I scored insanely high on Ne

What I would like to say is this is no different then many other functions tests I have taken I often have gotten results that identify me as.... ENTJ ENTP and ESTP I can rule out ENTJ because I KNOW I ultimately am Fe user as well as I do not need or prefer a hand book (Te) As well as that I suck at Ni too much for it to be aux, its my inferior function def not aux. Which leaves ENTP vs ESTP. I am stronger in Se. And I think alot of people who write the tests might not be Ne or Se doms and so they mistake writing questions that are transferable either direction. And are employed by both Ti auxs and Fe terts. (Or maybe I am just old and more evolved, or maybe I have just been around way too many Ne doms for so long lol).

My Scores:
Fi: 12
Fe: 14

Si: 11
Se: 18

Ni: 12
Ne: 16

Te: 14
Ti: 14

My Ti & Fe have generally always been neck and neck and I score very balanced there but I am ultimately a Ti aux. (I look very convincingly NFJ when I choose to employ it purposely as well as if I am durranged and paranoid upset). And it is no mystery I score lower on Ni as its my inferior function.

And to think, that I was an Fe-aux user....

Si: 11
Se: 7
Ni: 11
Ne: 15

Ti: 13
Te: 10
Fi: 14
Fe: 9

Ne > Fi > Ti > Si = Ni > Te > Fe > Se
--

So basically this means that I'm an ENxP, leaning towards ENFP. Interesting :0 ....

Never knew that I was high on Ne :/
