AHh I am so glad you liked it :) I'm not thrilled with the album production - between budget, people quitting, having to do things other people dictated (due to them paying for things) which turned out just as badly as I expected - there were a lot of corners I had to cut and problems I could not resolve. Also it was my first production, so there are some things I would do differently, now that I know more. But that one came out a bit better than several others production wise, and I'm glad, because it's one of my favorites in terms of songwriting. It's also fun to play live. :)

Can't wait to hear more! No problem on the delay- it's worth it for the sake of a wild year. :p

Ahh that photo is great. Love the editing too. Also, somehow it works with your user name. There's some passion and depravity.

I couldn't agree more about the irony, though I usually call it hypocrisy. Liberals tend to be open minded unless you disagree with them. Like you said in your thread, I'd rather call a spade a spade. I am not wishy washy about what is and what isn't, and how I feel about it. Your average liberal will present as though his values and morals are "open to interpretation," but will adamantly discard challenges to his viewpoint. He will speak of the damage done by religion, and fail to realize that this is not only inaccurate historically (Atheist communists Mao and Stalin killed many more people than any religious-based dictators or causes) - but also, that they are zealots where their political leanings are concerned. There is no room for debate - their view is RIGHT because UGH. Is this not a form of religion?

Ugh that's horrible about facebook. Thank you for the warning. Pretty scary.

I admire how strongly you stick to your guns. It's reasons like this that I've always said you give me hope for the world.

I stick to my guns, but it has been problematic - if I want to keep a band together and the band members are quitting because of what I believe. If audiences won't come to my shows. It would be nice to stick to my guns and say "Fuck them I don't need them" but if I have a band of zero and an audience of zero I can't move forward with my dreams. Also professors marking me down or not putting me in their class (small college). Or when roommates stop paying rent. I kick them out and replace them, stay on the lease alone and be in charge- but I can't claim to be unaffected by it. This is why writing is better.. I don't need anyone. But if I have conservative values leaking in my book , who will publish it? haha.

The sx4 character stands for my values. I suspect you will love him. :)

Limitless expression, mythological forest nymph, elf with grit and punch? All true. I'll take it! :,)

But I have a hankering for truth & honesty, family values, personal responsibility, individualism. Conservatives want small government, liberals want big. Forest nymph wants less bullshit laws & regulation. Lower taxes, I choose how to spend my money. If you can legally sue someone because you fell on their porch step - where's personal responsibility? Morality? Small businesses stand no chance. I want to choose my doctor & I want the dr, not politicians, to choose my medication. This renders me conservative, without even getting into ideals about children being raised with a sense of responsibility & raised by family values, not "Big Brother." Fits with 4s individualism & compassion, 7s freedom & expansiveness and 8s need to do it themselves & not be controlled. Sx pursues personal passions - not collectivist - thus small businesses & projects, expanding as I see fit.

I have three facebook pages - one for my male alter-ego, one for 'me' which includes anything related to music, and one for the third alter-ego who is into debating about politics. It's photos of myself, just dressed in a slightly different way - so its clearly me, but I keep it separate because people delete those who challenge their views and I want people to feel free to follow me and my music without being angered by my politics, as an option. I've had professors in college pressure me, people stop coming to my shows, roommates stop paying rent , co-workers and bosses turn on me, band members quit etc - because of my views, which are not even that extreme. On my facebook page, I often receive letters from people telling me they share my views but they are too afraid to speak out because of how it affects their life, and they admire my courage. I don't know if its like that in Austrailia? But its really over the top here. Indoctrination is a powerful thing.

I admire your quest for truth, and also your humility. Humility is the path to truth. If you think you know everything, you don't learn.

I also try to discard opinions that don't hold up to opposition. I want to be intellectually honest but I am imperfect & prone to bias - so I try to be aware. Most of my friends are liberal & challenge me well, but liberals in NY generally are not open to challenge. My friends say they're impressed that I reconsider views, but to me, I couldn't possibly do this ENOUGH. Yet its true that compared to many people here, I am more that way. I've had to be, since it seems I'm the only conservative-minded person in my age range for hundreds of miles. I can't tell you how much ridicule I've received, even from professors, housemates and colleagues. Liberal indoctrination is extreme and thinking outside of it is not accepted. I've endured actual problems in career, school and life because I let an idea slip out which challenged the norm.

Haha. How come you thought I was liberal? A lot of people assume so.
I had a feeling you were conservative - I wrote a few posts in the 8 forum long ago and you thanked them. It gave you away, because no liberal would thank those posts. I don't remember the content but it wasn't political policy.. more about values & a deeper mindset. I debate on other platforms, but I've mostly avoided politics on perc. While I don't hide my views and values, I like having a place to discuss personality & psychology without that kind of bias from people. That being said, anyone from perc who talks to me on skype has heard me rant extensively and they know that while I appreciate friends of all varieties & love discussions & debates, I won't date a liberal. ;D I guess it's an unexpected quirk of sorts. I am pro gay marriage and pro-choice, which sets me apart from a typical American "Conservative" - but I will elaborate on my reasoning in your thread when I'm in the right mindset.

I love that thread on conservatism with a passion I cannot possibly convey. It's so many of the same things I often say... but damn you are eloquent. I could go through my facebook and perc debate posts and collect so many quotes making those exact points, but I always end up sounding edgy and annoyed. I just wrote a long ramble in "SX confessions" about why I don't believe in equality, and was planning to start a thread called "I don't believe in equality" when I have more time. I'll comment on your thread too, when I am awake enough to do it justice.. but I had to rave.... serious bravo. It makes me so happy that someone else sees what I see and communicates it so clearly. :) What a breath of fresh air after spending my whole life surrounded by the liberal horde, battling indoctrination and groupthink. I admire your patience.

Max Schreck, you might have seen him as the man who played Nosferatu, I think that's the only thing he's known for anymore lol. So many horror movie portrayals are based off of it, but I don't think many actually know/care what his actual face was like.

Well, can't actually read someone's mind. I just got to wonder sometimes.

Hm yeah, I remember reading something like that once. Somehow it sounded a bit sad to me.

Lol, looking at your typing thread again, I was reminded that I had a hard time finding pictures that I thought represented me much, but then some people probably just posted stuff they liked... according to my friend that's what he did anyway. >>

I'm not sure actually. Ugh I have so much trouble communicating on the inter webs without nonverbal cues. You know, I began drinking tea in Nepal which as a full blooded American waspretty foreign to me, pun intended. What did you like and/or find interesting about their culture? I miss those archaic sandstone houses in every sense of the word. Plus I'd love to hear about your experience!

    I know.. :( :(
Yeah.. irony indeed. Way to make a blatant point about power, and how everyone is vulnerable at some point. But perhaps overstated? It was a sad way for him to die. No dignity whatsoever. Part of me feels he deserved better, but another part of me feels like he got what he deserved for treating his son that way.. but either way.. it was sad.
Brienne was the best part. I was surprised that Arya left him to die, though. I thought they were developing SOME affection for each other, at least in the sense of seeing each other's humanity. But then the idiot had to go and goad her about her pretty sister. She might have left him there anyway though.. she always had it in for him. But that was *cold*
