What type do I seem like to YOU?

Because all of the cool kids are doing it...

As promised, here's my just-for-the-hell-of-it personality poll! What type do I seem like to you? No, I'm not actually questioning myself at the moment. I'm just an attention whore and I want to know what people think. (I mean, if you really want to put an argument out there for another type, I'm willing to listen, but...)

Humor me, won't you? Pretty please?

You can explain your vote if you'd like. That would be nice.

    Thanks, dudes!

It's between ENTP and INTJ. Why? Because I love female ENTP's and female INTJs, and I'm in love with you.

But you seem nothing like an INTJ; thus, ENTP is clearly the best option.

    YAY for us attention whores!!! :D :D <3 <3 <3

I also feel the need to say that you all shouldn't take my word for my type. I want to know honest, unbiased opinions. If someone thinks I'm, like, an ISFJ or something, I won't take offense!

The Extroversion seems like it may be forced, I would not be surprised if you were Introverted.

The S/N divide is always there, because of the nature of this forum, it is not a cool thing to be a Sensor. I'd also question anyone who was super, super intuitive as it can come off as a facade (95% Intuitive?). People who seem too much their type also raises an eyebrow for me, nobody is a cookie cutter unless you are miss-typed, and you are very ENTP.

    Good Possibilities: INTP, ESTP, ISTP.

I have Ne as my highest function and Ni as my second highest function...I usually get like 9x% on intuition haha

I would say xNTP...I'm just not sure about the E/I :/

Good call on the extroversion. Honestly, it's a constant battle for me, because I don't really fit in on either side of the E/I scale. Sigh.

I definitely considered INTP for a while (and I still do from time to time), mostly 'cause my Ti is ridiculous and I can be somewhat hermit-like. I'm pretty introverted as far as extroverts go, provided I really am an extrovert. Also, I'm a bit more intellectual and grammatically-inclined than most ENTPs seem to be, which is more of a stereotypically INTP thing. I still lean toward extroversion, though, because I was a very outgoing, bubbly child, implying that my dominant function is extroverted, regardless of how I appear now. In addition, I come to life when it comes to public speaking of any sort. I adore it.

You think I'm "very ENTP?" (As in, you think I act very ENTP-like?) I'm actually surprised to hear that. (Especially because most people who "act like ENTPs" have atrocious grammar. Yuck.) What makes you think so? People tend to think I'm a J in real life. ...erm, people who haven't seen me try to work, anyway.

As for the S/N divide, I admit that my score looks pretty ridiculous. I'm certain I'm not nearly as extreme as I tested there, but I still am quite intuitive. I sometimes wish I were more balanced than I am (perhaps that would help me socially, because as much as being a sensor can be a social kiss of death on PC, the exact opposite is true in the real world), but I'm so intuitive that it's a wonder I can function at all in society. I feel like SPs are more savvy when it comes to real-world, hands-on stuff. I'm basically retarded when I have to venture outside of my theoretical, intellectual bubble.

...unless you have another take on sensors, because I've honestly never really considered being a one. I always assumed I was a bit too out-there for this to be the case. And anyway, I have an ESTP friend; we've talked about how similar we are and yet have some sort of fundamental difference, which I was never able to figure out until I discovered MBTI.

I hate to double-post, but I wanted to add that I'm going to take the ENFP vote from Grey as a compliment, because I know she loves her ENFPs.

Yeah you act like an ENTP, and I don't mean the ENTPs here. I'm talking about the descriptions.

Yes you are probably an N, but I'ma still stick with the I.

Edit: Also never rule anything out, your outlook can change in a flash, and if you aren't open to said change you will not grow.

Any specific reasoning you can provide? I'd love to hear it, because this is an ongoing argument with myself to which input is always appreciated.

...I also kinda want to know why Grey thinks I'm an ENFP. Are you out there, still? I don't know, but Fi and Te are pretty alien to me...

How do you know it was Grey? Maybe it was someone just picking it as a joke or someone who didn't have the best understanding of MBTI lol
