does nines love to gamble?
I don't particularly like to, but I might play slot every now then or similar till I lose a certain amount.
I think I do. Yeah. But not in a casino kind of way. I like to bet my opinion on a matter, when I feel confident but even more so to challenge someone. Then it's game on(I find I often win these kind of things, suspect that's the "gut feeling", it just feels right sometimes.)
I've only gambled once. It was on a cruise ship.
I started out with slots. Won some money quick, then quickly realized how boring it was. God, how can anyone do this for any extended period?
Then I went to the blackjack table. Hit a lucky streak, doubled my money, then lost half of my winnings. I cashed out when I realized luck was the biggest factor in the game.
If I'm going to gamble, I need some advantage to make my odds of winning higher than the other. Otherwise I'm gambling on luck, and that's just stupid.
I'd like to try poker. Seems like there's a lot more skill involved, going with gut feelings reading other players, and not just the luck of the draw against the dealer.
I like playing games like poker with other people, but I don't like risking my money.
I like poker games.
Gambling is a problem in my household. I can get out of control too. So I stay away, sort of...
Anyone with rudimentary knowledge of statistics would realise that gambling is a highly illogical pursuit.
^That would depend on the odds and what you have to win/lose. It doesn't have to be money.
Also I'd argue small bets are good for you. Keep it on a routine basis and you'll have fun and excitement, each day or so, boosting your moods and well-being. Key is to keep things on a good level.
I personally do not like gambling. I am risk averse. I have won more than I have lost throughout my life thus far. Both in number of successes vs. failures, as well as $ amounts. I still do not like it. It isn't all that fun, though it is a bit exciting if I make a decent amount of money. Also a note, I only tend to do solitary gambling, like slots, or play the Lotto. I would guess this is due to my introverted tendencies though.![]()
