You know, I probably am a 6w7. Right now I'm doing my homework and wasn't sure of a question, so after flipping through some pages of the novel I immediately thought, "Dammit, why did everyone else have to procrastinate? Now I can't discuss anything with anyone."

The people-w7 correlation seems to be an indirect one, since the definition of a type 7 doesn't necessarily require them to be "people persons".

The center of a type 5 is a sort of fear of the external world and a bulking up of the internal one. Type 7s are expansive, reaching outwards to escape their fear of confinement and suffering. There is a subtle difference, I think, of 5 vs 7 and Jungian introversion vs extroversion. The 5 vs 7 issue has nothing to do with subjective (identifying things with the self) and objective (treating things as, um, objects), whereas subjective vs objective means basically the same thing as introvert vs extrovert. And so 5s can be either introverts or extroverts, and 7s can be either introverts or extroverts.

What does this have to do with anything? Well, it means that it may be more likely for people to be involved for w7s, because you'll often find people when reaching out into the external world. The reverse is true for w5s. It is, however, an indirect correlation, so not terribly useful when trying to figure out which one you are.
