Grey...These descriptions sounds somewhat accurate, but I'm wondering where you got them. I do want to applaud you for seeing past stereotypes. The stereotypical description of a one would probably be a 1-6-2 or 1-2-6. It would also be worth exploring the extent that trifix can effect the expression of wing. For example, how would a 1w2 1-5-3 or differ from a 1w2 1-2-6?

    These are great. Thank you!

    Type 4

I'm a 4-1-6, and I found the 1-4-6 description very similar to me. I wish there were posts like this for all the other types!

The theory behind it confuses me of how I can look at myself and understand when I use one of the 3 to be who I am. Perhaps someone could try to inform me of identification.

I read 1-5-3 and it sounded about right

1-3-7 : a more socially-adaptable, goal-oriented and competitive One, that usually has many friends and connections. Usually extroverted, assertive people, they make natural leaders although they can be a little too narcissistic and self-important. They’re good motivators and can come up with visionary ideas which they have the required determination and self-discipline to put in practice. They normally have a handy social network and can be quite entertaining and charismatic when needed.
    usual subtypes: social, 1w2, 1w9
    similar tritypes: 3-1-7, 1-7-3
flavours: assertive, ambitious, attractive and ingenious

Hum, I hate to admit the narcissistic part...but generally speaking, this fits me well.

i am most like the 1-2-5, i have other tri-types im alot like but this one is the most like me, i tested originally as a 1w2 social variant so i believe id be the social subtype, ive also tested as balanced wings which explains my affinity to multiple tri-types

So thats why I couldn't type myself successfully. I am too out of touch with my feeling side to understand how I shown my 3 type in the 1-5-3 tritype. Also, 1's often identify with the 5 type heavily and it was hard to distinguish 5ish tendencies

Mostly 1-2-5, but I guess I have a streak of 1-6-4 and some of the others too.

I would say that this tritype thing can't possible be set in stone.
I makes more sense that we fluctuate between them and sometimes goes more in one direction than another.
This has after all to do with our drives.

This test is much better than those descriptions. I would dare to say that those descriptions are of poor quality compared to what this test will tell you: Comprehensive Enneagram Quiz

    1w9 - 6w5 - 3w2
The second 2 centers are interchangeable because they are only used as needed, as the primary is your identity and affects the use of the others.

    I guess I'm either a 1-4-5 or a 1-5-4.

But my result on this test that @Wake posted, my results were: 1w2, 6w5, 4w5.
