    Your Choice of Music

Though its unproductive, what kinda music are you into? Which bands are favorites?

I seem to be pretty big on music that makes me think in an introspective way. A Perfect Circle is my favorite band for this trait. Got bands which you see the same thing in?

Do any songs speak to your personality?

I like techno and Christian music primarily, but generally I'm open to almost any type. The kind of music I prefer has few, if any, swear words and/or dirty messages, has nice lyrics and good melodies. I especially enjoy funky bass lines. Samples:

"Til I See You" - Hillsong London, Jesus Is: Remix
"How Great Is Our God" - Chris Tomlin, Arriving
"Rods and Cones" - Blue Man Group, Audio
"Viva la Vida" - Coldplay, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends
"Anything But Ordinary" - Avril Lavigne, Let Go

ya, I'm still working on functioning healthy so i use music to help me calm my thoughts and stop think because it only leads to frustration which is let out on the recommendation box at my work lol.

My favorite song to ease the nerves is Everything Is Alright by Motion City Soundtrack and Steady As She Goes by The Raconteurs.
A song which speaks to my need for a strong super ego influence is Duality by Bayside.

Yeah me too, what I listen to changes according to my mood so I can jump between different bands and types.

I like deep, intense, reflective music (not necessarily all at the same time). I listen to music as varied as Gospel, Classical, to contemporary music.

Ya, I like classical as background music while driving, but thats when NPR isn't playing anything worth wrapping my mind around.

I listen to a wide range of stuff usually a mix of Pop, Rock, Alternative, Hip-hop, Dance, Adult Contemproary and Jazz. Country, heavy metal and opera tend to not be on my big love list though there are a few anamolies there like Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Shania Twain that have the odd crossover song I enjoy.

There are tons of different bands I've enjoyed over the years though White Stripes, Smashing Pumpkins, Dido, Natalie Merchant, Lights, Jem, Metric and Kylie Minogue would be a few artists that I've enjoyed. Sometimes I like bubbly pop stuff, other times I want something dirty and gross.

I love "The Hollow" by A Perfect Circle.
The part just before :40 gives me chills with good speakers and high sound quality.
