Mens Hipster Haircut - Undercut Hairstyle Trend

Clickbaity title aside, what are your thoughts?

I thought that since this became fashionable from the early to mid-2010s, we were not on the right track. I don't feel like that this haircut on guys is very progressive as this article suggests, because, well, it's short, and for much of history, men have been wearing their hair short.

I could have called for this thing to happen, but I believe that it didn't need to happen (the appropriation) for it to be a hairstyle honoured by those who don't respect individuals who dislike gender roles.

I always just associated it with "douchebag".

I get the appeal of having an undercut, but I don't get the appeal of one having their hair short, when back in the 2000s, men wore their hair longer, sometimes in an anime like way. Then again, people complained about the "metrosexual" trend of the 2000s.

It hasn't been appropriated by the alt-right, it was given to them by the left. Imagine the level of over sensitivity a person is required to have to be so fearful of a haircut. Especially since neo-nazis are a rare minority of people, and it is obvious that this haircut is prevalent because it was recently trendy.

    dumb article

Well the left are dumb for considering this hairstyle to be "progressive" then, at least whoever wrote that article. To be fair, it came as an alternative to the longer hair and the "metrosexual" look guys had in the 2000s.

A haircut is a haircut; nothing more and nothing less.

    Who writes these pointless articles?

Men started wearing long hair in the middle of the 20th century because it wasn't seen to be acceptable for them to do so, and these people wanted to change that.

These people think that this hairstyle reflects white men and are probably doing it in defiance to more experimental hair styles. Or they're just taking advantage of its popularity as well as to how similar it is to the Hitler Youth haircut.

They have sections on fashion and beauty, so they would write about this stuff.
