What type would cry when they are frustrated?

Is it normal to cry simply out of frustration? I find myself doing this far more often than in response to anything sad. The 2 most common reasons I cry are trying to do something and getting frustrated or failing, and wanting something and not getting it. Kind of childish. I tested as an INTP. Is this typical? I have read that INTP's are very concerned with failure. Is this most typical of some other type, and what types are likely to do this?

Actually I just discovered I posted this in the wrong place. Silly lack of Se or whatever. I'm going to try to find out how to move it or something. Sry guys.

If my frustration is really intense I can possibly cry as a result. But this is fairly rare.

Yeah, I cry out of frustration all the time. Also anger, regret, nostalgia, envy, jealousy, bitterness, shame, emptiness... those are worse than straight-up sadness, I think. I'll cry at pretty much any negative (or bittersweet) emotion, really. I've been this way my entire life.

I'm an INFP. (I feel like such a stereotype, haha.)

I think it's possible for any type to cry when they're really frustrated.

This is probably something determined by how effectively one expresses their emotions. Given that, there may be some notable correlation to personality type, as some are more naturally adept at this than others.

Hahaha, I am also an INFP, and crying at frustrations (and also shame) definitely characterizes me.

It's especially frustrating when I cry in front of professors/lovers/friends, because I don't understand something, or something isn't working and I just want it to be right. I don't generally have a hard time understanding how I'm feeling, so in the moment I know I'm crying because I'm frustrated, but I don't honor that knowledge. Lately, I've been allowing myself to be sidetracked by the swell of emotion to the point of impeding rational problem solving.

As a note, I'm INTP and I have cried relative to anger and/or frustration.

Yep, me too. I don't cry often though, but frustration is the main cause of why I cry.

Absolutely, I'm an E1 and an ISTJ, and if I'm really upset, I'll have terrible sobbing fits. Depression does that to me. When I was really young, I was unafraid to cry in public, but I felt like I was being "weak" by showing that much emotion in public. Now, when I'm in the depths of despair, I just want to shut everyone out if I'm going to have a reaction like that. If I don't, I'll be bombarded with a bunch of "Are you okay?" questions. And most people know I have depression, so obviously I'm not okay. For some reason, that question really gets to me- probably because I feel like everyone wants this long-detailed explanation from me, but being a private person, I don't wish to give it. I prefer to discuss my health issues in a medical setting and leave them there, rather than have people I know in real life ask me a bunch of questions about them. I will admit, I can be touchy.
