    Bangs

I think every one of my friends has a girl-crush on Zooey Deschanel. She's adorable. And sexy in that mysterious, playful way.

With the rise of Zooey we've also seen a rise in affection for bangs.

Does anyone have thoughts on this comeback trend? I've heard a lot of guys dislike them.

(I have a personal interest in this question since I'm considering getting full-fringe... but shhhhh, don't tell anyone )

I don't like Zooey at all (never even heard of her until this forum) but I think bangs are pretty hot.

I thought the trend was kind of weird at first, but I've seen some people who can pull them off and look good so I'm all for it.

    Zooey Deschanel :)

My bangs are super long, they go past my nose.

I generally am not a fan.... it works for the right person though. Jennifer Lopez ... no. Zooey yes. Other girl maybe. I can see it working for you. But .... hmmm... for me it's more something where it's like..... oh that's interesting.... i respect her willingness to go for something different kind of thing. But at the same time I am not super crazy about bangs. I dunno what to say.

I sweep mine to the side usually, they are too long
but I want to start wearing bangs too I find they actually need quite a bit of maintenance. They're not wake up and go kind of hair do At least for me. Sometimes depending where I'm at, like if I'm out someplace cold, my hair starts curling (like very girly wavy) so I have to remember to put this stuff in it to keep it in place. It also separates into parts.. And if I stay indoors, if I've used conditioner, it's very fly-away hair and just puffs up... My hair's very hard to manage.

The last time I didn't have bangs was probably 5+ years ago. I prefer myself with bangs.

I don't think Zooey Deschanel made them fashionable again - they come & go periodically & have been "back" for several years now. When I was a teen in the mid 90s to the early 2000s, I did not have bangs, & not that many girls my age did. I think it was a reaction to the late 80s - early 90s huge bangs (at least for me it was - I needed a bang break). By the time I graduated HS in 2002, bangs were coming back in a sleeker way (side swept, blunt & long, etc). I can't remember what made me want bangs again - I think I just got bored.

Zooey Deschanel is just the best.
Thats why lots of girls get the same bangs as her.

But i actually go more for the Rockabilly bangs.
Now their long just like Zoeey's and i think i will let them grow for a while.
