So, I'm curious.
Any tips on how I could make friends with SJ's and any tips on how to tolerate and be around SJ's?
Also, how do I get SJ's to tolerate me better?
I seem to be the instant target of almost any SJ, no matter the situation.
I'd just like to know how to be around you guys/gals easier.

You having been courteous and responsive changes a lot of things.
The question now changes to: do you really want to get along with people who mock and reject you just because you're different?

There IS no special way to magically 'get along with SJs better.' It's like asking how to 'get along with Belgians better' or how to 'get along with drummers better' - other than basic courtesy, there is really no particular formula that is guaranteed to work against a specific group of people.

You having a hard time getting along with those people isn't because they're SJs. It's because they are intolerant and immature.

If you feel that you must join their group for whatever reason, you have no other options but to forcibly weed out that 'odd' part of your personality (provided that this was the sole reason for the rejection.)

It's my personal opinion however that the people you happen to be dealing with right now probably aren't worth your time or effort. If I were you I'd find a more mature crowd elsewhere.

I'm convinced that no human being could possibly ever get along with SJs. I think it's an established fact that SJs are just terrible people and they can't tolerate or be tolerated. It's in their blood to hate. It's also widely known that they have no sense of humor, dislike fun/dancing/partying/singing, find no pleasure or joy in anything except for ruining other people's lives.

They're basically a bunch of angry Quakers with their panties in a bunch. Mind you, these are granny panties and are in no way shape or form cute panties. SJs don't understand "cute", they actually avoid it because if overloaded with it, it can hurt them.

I really think @Rhee answered your question very well. The only way I can offer you more information is if you can be more specific about what's happening in your interactions. So if you want to do that, I'll put in my two cents as well.

You're talking about having trouble tolerating and being tolerated by SJs. If you aren't tolerating each other, I doubt you're sitting down and explaining personality theory to them and having them type themselves. I'm going to guess from the fact that you're using a Keirsey term like SJ that you're typing them yourself based on the Keirsey descriptions, which are stereotypes. That makes me think that you're just guessing on the type based on the fact that you're not getting along with them. Remember that jerks can be any type, my temperament doesn't corner the market on it, no matter how hard we try.
