I wasn't denying that other's can't hurt you. How do you think people get past pain? They move on, or they wallow in their own self misery. It's a conscious choice you have to make to not let the past hold you back.

It's the same idea as with any sort of bullying, they taught everyone this in Kindergarten. You allow someone to bully you by choosing to acknowledge it. While it's sort of fucked up when taken in context of something like the emotional abuse of a child etc, only you let others impact your psychological well-being

    aside from your straw man
lets start from the bottom up

Where was the straw man, and what do you mean from the bottom up? Are you still talking about the quotes?

Equal pay for starters. I mean women live in this world to do they not? Do they not have the same issues of bills?

No where did I say men don't get raped or that it isn't an issue, I said that women get raped far far more often and that comparing the two in a tit for tat game in who's gender gets discriminated against more game is ridiculous, not only beacuse the numbers are not even comparable but becaues who cares rape is rape.

As for women being more aggresive than society would like to admit... that sounds kind of familiar....
    wait one second...

wait that was me who said that! Though I don't intend to rape anyoen anytime soon.

you're preaching to the choir sweetie.

I don't really get what you're trying to prove, nowhere did I say women can't commit acts of cruelty or violence or that men have sole domain over such things, those are human qualities. Everyone is capable of cruelty.

    CAuse it is.

That's not ok, rape isn't funny, and it may have to do with the unfair gender stereotype of a guy being lucky whenever he gets any "action" and not caring about personal boundaries or dignity or bieng in a respectful relationship to get it, and it's a loss to both men and women this sterotype exists.
I would say women are likely get raped more often, but not enough to dismiss rape against men to the degree people have. 22% of men as opposed to 30% of women have been documented as victims of rape in the Congo.

I digress, though. This whole topic is kind of tired and overdone.
