Playing the victim and the "I see through your prejudice and you can't game" is something I see both in extreme liberal enclaves and some feminist groups, which basically allows them to stay in the position of eternal superiority and so not be held accountable for potential wrongs in their position.

but I also see the exact same attitude from you.
Get your ears and eyes checked.
I'm not blaming feminists for the downfall of society. I'm only not "with" them.
I refuse to subscribe to illogical institutions. Sorry 'bout ya.

That gets me pelted with ridiculous accusations (see thread) and I refuse to have that as well.

point- unwillingness to be flexible. and assess yourself or your position.
that's what I see, in fact, you can normally see it from any extreme position.
but I don't expect you to agree.

I'm a dude I took a class on Women's history and a seminar on the Women's Movement last year. There I was thinking that I took it because I consider myself a feminist and truly believe that I was going learn about relevant material that I was interested in. But I'm glad you straightened that out for me, because now I finally know the truth. If it wasn't for that Women's history class that I took, I would have never met my girlfriend.

    Thanks bro.

Define what you think feminism is. One side of the egalitarian coin.

Do you consider yourself a feminist?
Sort of. I'm too traditional to be accepted as one usually, but I believe we should have equal rights in term of property, education, employment etc. The only issue I disagree with when it comes to mainstream feminism is abortion. Being a born again, stay at home mom with a tendency towards submission doesn't help me fit in either.

I'm against it. Does that make me a male chauvinist??

  8. #238

Yes, you are a super chauvinist.

    Depends on your reasons.

    This is a good thing.

Feminists form intricate ways in which women can skirt their way out of their shortcomings and subsequently project the "blame" onto men, the "patriarchy", so on and so forth.

This is the fundamental difference, and I will not endorse.
Agreed! Feminists and those who agree with modern feminism seem to think the sexes are exactly the same. This idea implicitly or explicitly turns its back on nature, science, and the most basic of truth's.
