Class of 2009 guy dating a class of 2014 girl?

So this girl I know somewhat has been dating this guy who is probably 6-7 years older than her. She is a very pretty and popular girl so of course everyone is on her side and thinks it's okay for them to date. I'm pretty sure she is just after his dick. I also know that it is totally illegal.

Would you consider this normal? if so, why?

Normal according to all the classic literature I've read. Not normal according to our uptight society.

That's illegal. And what 19-21 year old would want to date a fucking 14-15 year old anyway? I find most girls under 16 to be insufferable.

You're talking class of 2009 and class of 2014 in terms of high school? So, a 20 year old dating a 15 year old... that's completely illegal and disgusting in my opinion.

For me, it's not about whether it's illegal, but why it's illegal. I think the age gap is okay/normal/[insert word of acceptance here]. I don't care if it's illegal and I don't care if the age issue is disgusting to others. Everyone here knows where I stand with a certain teacher, so I'll leave that at that.

Though if it's because she's pretty and popular, I'm actually surprised that people are on her side. Again, I'm not frowning upon the age difference, I'm frowning upon the likely scenario that he's dating her for the wrong reasons, and vice versa.

He's basically taking advantage of her. The relationship won't last and let's hope they don't get caught or nobody gets pregnant.

Knowing the girl, I have a feeling that she is just using him for sex. Though I could be wrong. I hope they at least get caught, they both deserve it and that relationship needs to stop anyway.

I think she has some pedophillic tendencies. Also, it's a big difference between 15 and 20. One is a child and the other is an adult. I'd rather they wait for a while, otherwise, it's a bit morally dubious.
