What type masturbates the most and which the least in a month?

I think ENTPs like me who tend to lack more impulse control than average, and ESFJs the least because they usually get turned only usually by people because they need the connection.

Do you think Ns masturbate more than Ss since fantasy thoughts are required?

Also which personality type is the most sexual? I am thinking ESFJs the most and INTPs the least..


What are your thoughts about this?

I'm an INTP and it sounds kinda right, I don't really desire sex. But that is speaking for myself.

Since when are fantasy thoughts required for masturbation? I don't think you can link masturbation to type. I'm not sure you can link a lot of sex stuff to personality type (Although sex is incredibly tied down to personality, but not in a way we can really type.)

In general, I suspect that Ti types are more to cheat and or be promiscuous. Ti is incredibly good at self-justifying behaviour, especially if placed in Aux, so I would put ENTP and ESTP as the types most likely to do "immoral" sexual things.

As for overall sexual activity, I don't know if there is a type correlation there. Most humans do link sex to emotion so I think that probably, again, the most active types would probably be ESTP and ENTP, ceteris paribus, based off a Pe+Ti. These types are probably least likely to associate sex with emotion and more likely to just do it for personal pleasure, hence promiscuity. I suspect that they are also more likely to be "sexually selfish." I again think that sexual deviance will be more common on Pe+Ji, but I don't think deviance particularly would be limited to Ti types: I suspect that it is equal amongst Fi/Ti auxes.

Homosexuals in my experience have been complete extraverts, usually sensory extraverts.

Introverts might be less sexual. I don't know about that. I think that introverts are less interested in the circumstances that create sexual promiscuity. That's a generalisation, obviously. But most of the promiscuous people I've known are obvious extraverts and, at the extreme opposite, are generally introverts.

I really do think the masturbation question is silly, though.

I could speak about sexuality & personality for an infinite amount of time, I think this is about as tersely as I could put it.

I agree with ENTP, but ESTP is probably applicable as well.

That's because they make a point of everyone knowing about it. There's introverted homosexuals everywhere, I guess we just choose not to advertise it openly.

This is a silly question. XD Being more open and verbal about sexuality doesn't make any type more sexual than another, it just means they have fewer qualms about discussing their predilections. Shame and religious beliefs are more likely factors in whether someone will confess to masturbation (whether or not it actually prevents them from doing so).

@Diphenhydramine Anyone can cheat. Self-justification and rationalization are human traits, not type ones. I believe cheating is more a matter of maturity, communication, and respect (and poor judgment in some cases).

SJs seem to the the types most likely to have hang-ups about sex, but it depends on how they were raised. Apart from that, I'm not sure how much type matters.

As an INTP, I disagree with your 'least sexual' comment.

Nope, I know an ESFJ woman who started masturbating at age 6. Granted, it's because she had a friend who showed her how but she masturbated all the time growing up. She masturbated despite her neurotic religious environment telling her it was wrong to do.

In marriage she masturbates every time she has sex and even sometimes alone when she's not having sex. She's loves having sex for the emotional connection but also because she needs to get that sexual release. She also has fantasies. Just because she is a sensing/concrete thinker does not mean that she does not have fantasies.

I don't think you can really know which type is more sexual. I think that has to do with hormones and culture really. But for the record, I'm an ISFJ and I'm usually more sexual than my ISTP husband even though he has Se.
