Would you date/marry a mortician (funeral director) ?

I'm in school for mortuary science and I work at a funeral home as an assistant to the mortician and I'm just wondering what you guys think.

I wouldn't care, my Grandad was a mortician it doesn't bother me in the least.

Quite the opposite actually. I'd be fascinated.

Uhhhh, why would this be a problem? I would not date a funeral director who took advantage of funeral homes semi-monopoly status to rip off grieving people (as they often do) but there is no problem with the occupation in general.

PS- for future reference, if you're going to make the thread title a question, and ask a question in the OP, you should keep it consistent. With this thread, saying "yes" or "no" would mean different things based on which question I was answering because you phrased them differently, even though you're asking the same thing.

Sounds really fascinating to be honest. I used to want to work in a morgue.

It is fascinating, but I'm just an assistant Mortician while I'm getting my mortuary science degree. I don't work in a morgue, that's if you want to do autopsies and stuff. I do a lot of calls at the morgue though.
