I don't see the point of asking us if that planet exists. I doubt that anyone on PerC can know if it exists or not. It would either mean that someone here has confirmed it in their own calculations or have disproven. We can only state our feeling and hopes about it.
I personally would like for it to exist because it is something really exciting and new, something that can be completely explored.

The point is because it's an interesting topic to discuss. This is a big community, it's not outside the realm of possibility that someone here could have educated and interesting insights on this.

If Pluto were a planet, then it still wouldn't be #9 because Ceres would have to be added as #5 and Jupiter-Neptune would get bumped up

"Although we were initially quite skeptical that this planet could exist, as we continued to investigate its orbit and what it would mean for the outer solar system, we become increasingly convinced that it is out there," says Batygin, an assistant professor of planetary science. "For the first time in over 150 years, there is solid evidence that the solar system's planetary census is incomplete." - See more at: https://www.caltech.edu/news/caltech-researchers-find-evidence-real-ninth-planet-49523#sthash.6zK1YRFn.dpuf

I'm just happy nobody's discussing how this planet could be some angry giant alien that comes around every 20000 years to wipe worlds of sentient life.
