I still can't decide between Bear and Peace. Looks like TreeBob's doing well enough without my vote. On the one hand, Bear is respected, and is authoritative enough that the trolls will take him seriously, but Peace is also well-liked and would be unlikely to overreact with excessive force. Hmmm... There are too many good choices, which is the exact opposite of the problem I have with elections in real life.

I was about to vote for Peace, who seems a lot like us, but then, we already have Java, so it might be more useful to have a greater variety. TreeBob would be the only S, which might offer a fresh perspective, and Bear would take on the role that Nephy used to have of the mature but intimidating enforcer, like a stereotypical strong father figure. ...but I like Peace so much that I might vote for her anyhow. I'm just waiting to see who has the better chance. TreeBob will most likely win as it is, but it might be nice to give one of the others a fighting chance.

Bear isn't a father figure, not to me at least. He seems like a serious big kid. He can be fun, but also knows when to shut up. I've taken a liking to him. I would be considered a troll to you Snail, even though I'm not, and I don't respect him because he's authority. I respect him because he's a balance. Like Nephilim who liked to play around with me, and than we'd both have serious talks. That's how I see bear. More 'Big Brother' than 'Father'.
