    Rokuro-Kubi

You scored 18 in Malice and 13 in Chaos!
Rokuro-Kubi are perhaps the strangest of all the demons; by day, they appear to be normal normal humans, but at night, they lay down in a secluded place, where their heads detach from their bodies and fly out in search of food. Rokuro-Kubi are invariably malevolent; as well as eating insects and wild animals, they think nothing of overwhelming helpless travelers with their numbers and devouring them alive, piece by piece. They cannot, however, attack a human while he prays or takes sanctuary in a sacred place. If one should manage to stumble upon the bodies of the Rokuro-Kubi while they are away and hide them, the demons will be dead by dawn unless they return to their bodies.

Rokuro Kubi come in several varieties; some have heads which detach entirely from their bodies, while others simply have extremely long, thin necks which they extend in order to spy on others or strangle them from behind.

While Rokuro-Kubi are undeniably evil, they do not pose any great threat to humanity; they are dangerous and cruel, but have no particular drive to actually seek out and kill humans, only killing the ones unfortunate enough to accept an invitation to stay the night in their homes, or those they find alone while hunting at night.

    Yuurei

You scored 15 in Malice and 21 in Chaos!

The Yuurei are the lost souls of those whose lives were abruptly ended in the midst of great distress or emotion. They are pale, white spectres nearly indistinguishable from humans, except that they possess no legs, indicative of their detachment from the earthly world. Yuurei haunt the place of their deaths, waiting for the opportunity to fulfil some incomplete purpose.

Yuurei are more commonly female than male, victims of male cruelty or neglect. Those who become Yuurei typically die violent deaths, whether by suicide or by murder; they become trapped on earth until they have taken care of unfinished business. Male Yuurei are less common, although a slain warrior may become one in order to set the record straight regarding the manner of his death, i.e. to clear his name from disgrace.

Although most Yuurei are relatively harmless, some may become "Obake-Yuurei," or monster ghosts. Obake-Yuurei, instead of restricting their passions to reasonable limits, are wont to loose their rage and sorrow on any people who happen to be unlucky enough to pass by.

    Obake-Yuurei

You scored 19 in Malice and 22 in Chaos!
The Obake-Yuurei is like a regular Yuurei, or ghost, except much more malevolent. Obake-Yuurei are the souls of those who died in great anger or heartache, and continue to wander the earth in search of someone, anyone, to avenge themselves upon.

Obake-Yuurei sometimes appear as pale, crying maidens sitting by some lonely and forsaken place; these demons, although evil, are no more than the products of their sadness. If one should happen upon an Obake-Yuurei, the best way to defend himself-- for, in the end, sad or not, Obake-Yuurei have only murder and vengeance in mind-- is to cut through the center of the Yuurei and remove the shard of corruption in the heart which stains the soul.

    Ryu

You scored 12 in Malice and 25 in Chaos!

Japanese dragons, or "Ryu," are very different from their Western counterparts; where the Western dragon is typically reptilian, with a heart as cold as its blood, the dragons of the Orient actually tend to err more on the side of beneficence. This should not, however, be construed as a license to treat them with disrespect; Oriental dragons are extremely powerful beings who do not tolerate impudence.

Ryu, like the dragons of the West, are known to have a fondness for shiny objects and treasure. Some Ryu are willing to part with their treasures if they deem a mortal worthy of inheriting it. Other dragons may also, like gods, grant wishes and supernatural powers to those who seek them.

At the same time, one must be wary when dealing with dragons; some may be extremely temperamental, and others even harbor a hatred for mankind and its desecration of the earth. Most dragons are by no means evil, but must still be treated with extreme caution.

    Tanuki
Tanuki are a species of "Henge," or animal shapeshifters; like the Tengu, Tanuki are not particularly evil, but love to play tricks on mortals. Tanuki love sake, and often transform into humans solely for the purpose of purchasing alcohol with counterfeit money made from leaves. They can transform everyday objects into useful tools, and disguise other objects as things that they are not; for example, some Tanuki disguise horse excrement as a delicious dinner and feed it to beggars as a practical joke.

Tanuki, however, unlike Kitsune and Tengu, are not especially skilled at the arts of deception; if one takes a close enough look, he will be able to tell a Tengu apart from a real human. Tanuki, interestingly enough, have very large testicles, but very tiny... uh... 'nuff said.

    Yuki-Onna

You scored 20 in Malice and 18 in Chaos!

Yuki-Onna manifests herself as an irresistably beautiful maiden clad in a white kimono, pure and inviolate. However, appearances are deceiving; her skin is pale and her breath like frost; she appears to mountain travelers in the midst of terrible blizzards and hovers above them while they sleep, slowly but inevitably sucking the life from their lips and breath. She is a terrible demon who, once attracted, cannot be repelled.

However, she is also susceptible to the charms of the opposite sex; if a man is handsome enough, she may spare his life on the condition that he swears never to reveal the encounter to others. This promise, once made, must be kept; for, like an obsession, Yuki-Onna will follow the man for the rest of his natural life, perhaps even disguising herself as a future wife, waiting and watching for any hint of betrayal. If the man ever breaks her trust, the consequences are fatal.

    Obakeneko

You scored 26 in Malice and 17 in Chaos!

Obakeneko, or "Cat demons," are another subset of the "Henge," or shape-shifter demons. Obakeneko are rarely seen in their true form, preferring instead to transform into beautiful women. On the surface, Obakeneko seem harmless enough, causing no direct harm to humans; however, a closer look at the behavior of the Obakeneko reveals it to be a dangerous and malevolent creature; for the Obakeneko is wont to seduce young men into marriage, where it slowly but inexorably drains the life from them every night while they sleep. Men under the influence of Obakeneko age at an extremely rapid pace, and by the time they discover the cause, the Obakeneko has disappeared, transformed into another woman, and is busy seducing another man.

Cat demons are almost invariably evil; the only way to expose a woman as an Obakeneko is to catch her in flagrante delicto, that is, in the act of draining her victim. Obakeneko, like Kitsune, are also fond of playing terrible tricks upon mortals, and delight in driving their victims, slowly, but surely into madness. They are truly deserving of their status as demons, although, if one treats an Obakeneko well enough, he may temporarily tame her into a harmless vixen, i.e. a "sex kitten." At any moment, however, the tamer of the Obakeneko must expect her to forget his kindness and revert back to her demonic mentality
