So my point is, unless we can explicitly identify situations in which a person is said to be adaptable, and situations which a person is said to be not adaptable, we cannot claim with a high degree of probability that we possess any trait.

Another issue is that we may be adaptable in certain circumstances, and not adaptable in certain circumstances. The issue here, then, is to identify the degree to which we possess such a trait. In order to do that, we have to consider multiple circumstances.

that kind of detail wouldn't be possible in a test like this, my guess is someone who knows about mbti would have to interview a specific person and adapt the questions to the individual to get a perfect mbti.

I find myself very doubtful of my preferences, despite almost every test telling me I'm iNtuitive. This is based off the very general questions such as: 'Are you practical or imaginative'. These questions are quite general, which inspires doubt in full bloom. Though I am very grateful that you posted this, it was quick and also proved that preferences are preferences and not set in stone thinking styles, which confuses many quite often. :D I appreciate this.
