    The Politics Test

This is a long test, but that probably makes it more accurate than other political tests.

    HelloQuizzy.com: The Politics Test

    Libertarian

You scored 68% Personal Liberty and 66% Economic Liberty!

A libertarian believes in little to moderate government intervention on both personal and economic matters. They generally believe in a government that is small and limited to the extent of protecting people's liberty. They tend to be opposed to war, police powers, victimless crimes, foreign intervention and what they consider to be a welfare state. They support both property rights and self-ownership. More moderate libertarians may use a more utilitarian or gradualist approach, while the more heavily minimalist libertarians allow less room for compromise in a direction that they consider to be away from liberty. Libertarians generally support capitalism as an economic system. Libertarian thought tends to be individualist in nature.

I get Left Liberal (even though that it is totally inaccurate)

    Completely libertarian biased, completely americentric.

    Paleo-Liberal

You scored 60% Personal Liberty and 56% Economic Liberty!

A paleo-liberal believes in low to moderate government intervention on personal matters and moderate government intervention on economic matters. They tend to be opposed to war, police powers and victimless crimes. They believe in a social safety net, but to a lesser extent then most leftists. They generally believe in protecting personal liberty. They support self-ownership and privacy. Some Paleo-liberals may lean towards embracing capitalism as an economic system. Paleo-liberals are reminiscent of the attitude of the "new left" of the 60's and 70's. Strong Paleo-Liberals border on Libertarianism.

    Statist

You scored 21% Personal Liberty and 26% Economic Liberty!

A statist believes in moderate to high government intervention in both personal and economic matters. They generally believe in a centralized state with a social safety net and laws restricting personal liberty. They tend to support war and foreign intervention. Extreme statists border on being totalitarians, while others lean towards being centrists.

The test was too USA-centric so my result might be a little off.

    Neo-Liberal

You scored 54% Personal Liberty and 28% Economic Liberty!
A neo-liberal believes in moderate government intervention on personal matters and moderate to high government intervention on economic matters. They believe in a social safety net or welfare state and try to balance personal liberty with safety or security. Some neo-liberals believe in more foreign intervention or war then most other leftists. Others are more like Centrist Democrats. More authoritarian-leaning Neo-liberals (such as personal 40/economic 30) are the result of a "fusion" between "old left" and "new right" tendencies.

The questions being mostly US-specific probably explains why I can't fully relate to the result.

    Centrist

You scored 46% Personal Liberty and 53% Economic Liberty!
A centrist believes in moderate government intervention in both personal and economic matters. They tend to be somewhat ambiguous, as they may have the oppurtunity to pick the side of any group surrounding them on any given issue. They generally believe in a moderate social safety net and what they consider to be a balanced stance on personal liberty. Centrists tend to emphasize compromise and cooperation between partisan groups.

Seems alright, I tend to have a lot of views on opposite ends of the spectrum.

    Liberal

You scored 97% Personal Liberty and 37% Economic Liberty!
A liberal believes in little to no government intervention on personal matters and moderate to high government intervention on economic matters. Liberals tend to be strongly opposed to war, police powers and victimless crimes. A liberal believes in protecting personal rights, particularly involving self-ownership. They believe in a social safety net or welfare state and have a tendency to oppose capitalism as an economic system. They strongly support self-ownership and privacy. More radical liberals lean towards anarcho-socialism.

    Social Conservative
You scored 34% Personal Liberty and 62% Economic Liberty!

A social conservative believes in moderate to high government intervention on personal matters and little to moderate government intervention on economic matters. They tend to support capitalism as an economic system and support foreign intervention, war, police powers and laws restricting personal liberty. They generally oppose what they consider to be a welfare state domestically and too much social permissiveness. They believe in property rights or homestead. A social conservative generally believes in protecting economic liberty. Social Conservatism is essentially the "mainstream" right.

I think I messed up a little, I'm supposed to be an economic conservative aka fiscal conservative. And there were some choices I just skipped cause I didn't really know what they were talking about.
