    Abstract

You think abstractly about 100% of the time!
You picked the most abstract option almost every time. You definitely picked one of the ringers. Wow.

Your way of thinking is admirable. You possess a faculty for cunning plans that would impress The Blackadder himself. Just remember to take your vitamins and get some sun from time to time. You don't want to end up like Mr. Bean.

Whut. O_O That's what you call "abstract" thinking? I hated the math problem thingies. Honestly, what went through my brain was, "Whutever. I simply don't want to even take time thinking about this" for the math questions. Lol. ^^ The witch question was kind of inaccurate in my opinion. Of course you don't want to test if she burns because, well, so do humans. It would kind of kill the point.

    Adaptable

You think abstractly about 73% of the time!

Your choices suggest that you practice a healthy balance of abstract and concrete thinking. If I dare to guess - and I do - you probably didn't waste time calculating the percentages in the tax question. Good for you.

Your way of thinking is admirable. If you were a raven lusting after a meat pie in the window of Miss Maple's cottage, you'd probably pause long enough to remember your concrete-thinking buddy, Bill, who broke his neck flying into the glass yesterday. You'd probably also get in through the chimeny and eat that pie long before your abstract-thinking friend, Charles, worked out the optimal flight paths.

    Concrete

You think abstractly about 47% of the time!
You take a concrete view of complex problems. You preferred solutions that solved a specific question to solutions that solved a class of problems.

Your way of thinking is admirable. If you were a rat in a maze, you'd probably find the cheese long before your abstract-thinker broodmate. When the cheese is on the end of an electric probe next week, you may be in for a shock. A tasty, savory, melted brie shock.

hope this thread isn't too old to be answered, but I found it via a Google search and thought I'd take the test. but really, how is a test with only 5 questions able to accurately tell how concretely or abstractly one thinks? need more questions.

    Concrete
You think abstractly about 60% of the time!

I worked out the variable math problem using order of operations. and at first I was gonna select "wood burns" but then realized it's first important to check if the wood floats or else the "witch" could be mistakenly burned. as for the last one, I did this:

    $100,000-$74,200=$25,800
    ($25,800/100)*28=$7224 (that's how I calculate percentages o_O)
    $15,107.50+$7224=$22,331.50
