This is a discussion on Function Analysis Test within the Personality Test Resources forums, part of the Personality Type Forums category; These are very interesting. I scored ISTJ (Fi, Si, Ti) on the first and INFP (Fi, Ti) on the second ...

These are very interesting. I scored ISTJ (Fi, Si, Ti) on the first and INFP (Fi, Ti) on the second (although ENFP and INTP were also suggested).

Knowing what types I normally get (ISTJ, ISTP), the first might be more accurate (as I rarely get N and F), but who knows.

That's quite an ISTJ analysis if you ask me.

btw; what can these results say about me? this is why i can't type myself.

    Se - 36.6 (Excellent use)
    Si - 20.4 (Limited use)
    Ne - 32.8 (Good use)
    Ni - 39.7 (God use)
    Te- 25.6 (Average use)
    Ti - 36.6 (Excellent use)
    Fe- 24.5 (Average use)
    Fi - 31.8 (Good use)

    Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: ISTP
If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ESTP, or INTJ

hmm... about 33% posibility of being an ESTP

    EDIT: other test...

    Se - 21 marks
    Ni - 21 marks
    Ne - 20 marks
    Ti - 19 marks
    Fe - 18 marks
    Te - 18 marks
    Fi - 17 marks
    Si - 12 marks

    Your Possible Type Code
According to the traditional sorting method of finding the most-used functional pairs (such as Fi-Ne), your type might be:
    Possible result: ESTP

We are also trying a new sorting method to try to indicate best-fit type. This method is experimental and may not match your type.
    Possible result: ENTJ

-hmm... as far as i know this second ENTJ could as well be ENFJ since i have the same grade on Te and Fe. Actually my Ti is better then my Fi so that should make me much more of an ENFJ.
Anyways i'm pretty sure i am a perceiver; it is also easy to notice since the top 3 places are perceptive functions...

about 50% possibility of being an ESTP

    ...
SO about 66% chance i'm an ESTP with multipersonality disorder, core issues, multi-faced, fake/original, etc.

    Your Most-Used Processes
Based on your response, these are your top three cognitive processes in use:

Ne : Interpreting situations and relationships; picking up meanings and interconnections; being drawn to change 'what is' for 'what could possibly be'; noticing what is not said and threads of meaning emerging across multiple contexts.
Fe : Connecting; considering others and the group—organizing to meet their needs and honor their values and feelings; maintaining societal, organizational, or group values; adjusting and accommodating others; deciding if something is appropriate or acceptable to others.
Te : Ordering, segmenting; organizing for efficiency; systematizing; applying logic; structuring; checking for consequences; monitoring for standards or specifications being met; setting boundaries, guidelines, and parameters; deciding if something is working or not.
    Your Developmental Report
Your pattern of responses indicates a developmental level in each cognitive processes. Since this is experimental, this report may be in error.

    Si,Se
You notice this process and enjoy when others use it but only occassionally find yourself engaging in it. You may marvel at others who do it very well. It doesn't appear useful to you personally and can annoy you if others use it too much.

    Ti

    Ni
You actively use this process in your daily life as a useful tool or helpful aid. You could live without it but use definitely contributes to the what you do and who you are. You can work with others using this process, usually in a support role.

    Te,Fi,Fe
You create value, aid others and get things done everyday using this process. You function well here, know all the ins and outs, strengths and limits of this process. You have made this process your own, something personal and unique to you.

    Ne
You sustain and grow yourself and those around you long-term through this process. You are at your best, your peak creative and leadership moments when engaged in this process. This is a lead role; it is who you are and what you truly do.

Introverted Feeling (Fi): Staying true to who you really are. Paying close attention to your personal identity, values and beliefs. Checking with your conscience. Choosing behavior congruent with what is important to you.

    Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Intuiting (Ne): Exploring the emerging patterns. Wondering about patterns of interaction across various situations. Checking what hypotheses and meanings fit best. Trusting what emerges as you shift a situation’s dynamics.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ENFP, or INTP

If these results are different from what you know of yourself, you might consider why your developmental pattern does not align with your expectation. You might also consider exploring this result as a possible better fit.

    Your Developmental Curve
This model attempts to graph a 'developmental curve'. Theoretically, people should choose simpler, less sophisticated aspects of the cognitive processes more often than they choose complex, more sophisticated aspects. The simpler aspects of each process are necessary to perform the more sophisticated aspects! However, because the phrases are in development, this measure has questionable validity.

    Your self-assessment curve = -1.3

-- A curve less than 0 indicates you checked simpler phrases more often than sophisticated ones. This is expected, although a particularly low number (more than -10) might happen if the phrases were particularly unclear to you, or if you under-estimated your abilities.

-- A curve greater than 0 indicates you checked sophisticed phrases more often than simpler ones. This would be counter to a developmental model and might happen if many phrases are badly written or if you have over-estimated your capabilities.

    Your Most-Used Processes
Based on your response, these are your top three cognitive processes in use:

Fi : Evaluating; considering importance and worth; reviewing for incongruity; evaluating something based on the truths on which it is based; clarifying values to achieve accord; deciding if something is of significance and worth standing up for.

Ne : Interpreting situations and relationships; picking up meanings and interconnections; being drawn to change 'what is' for 'what could possibly be'; noticing what is not said and threads of meaning emerging across multiple contexts.

Ni : Foreseeing implications and likely effects without external data; realizing 'what will be'; conceptualizing new ways of seeing things; envisioning transformations; getting an image of profound meaning or far-reaching symbols.

It's interesting that alot of ENFPs test to have high Fe. (on typologycentral they had a whole thread dedicated to ENFP cognitive test results)

I got ENTP, INTP or ENFP when I took it a while back.

I took this today and got INFJ.

In 2 weeks I might be ESTP

You have really high Fi on both. Have you considered being an INFP?

I took this a while back, and I didn't save the whole thing. Here's what I do have:

    0000000000000000 Ti
    000000000000 Ne
    000000000 Si
    0000000 Ni
    00000 Te
    00000 Fe
    0000 Se
    000 Fi

My number of "0"s seems to be considerably less than everyone else's. Does this mean I'm underdeveloped? Or possibly I had too-high stardards about what I considered deserved a check...

You probably chose more middle of the road answers than most others. It's not uncommon among INTPs. I have to make a concerted effort to put stronger responses to certain things, even though I typically shy away from absolutes.
