    Your Possible Type Code
According to the traditional sorting method of finding the most-used functional pairs (such as Fi-Ne), your type might be:

    Possible result: ENFP

We are also trying a new sorting method to try to indicate best-fit type. This method is experimental and may not match your type.
    Possible result: ENFP

    Your Developmental Curve
This model attempts to graph a 'developmental curve'. Theoretically, people should choose simpler, less sophisticated aspects of the cognitive processes more often than they choose complex, more sophisticated aspects. The simpler aspects of each process are necessary to perform the more sophisticated aspects! However, because the phrases are in development, this measure has questionable validity.

    Your self-assessment curve = -4.4

-- A curve less than 0 indicates you checked simpler phrases more often than sophisticated ones. This is expected, although a particularly low number (more than -10) might happen if the phrases were particularly unclear to you, or if you under-estimated your abilities.

-- A curve greater than 0 indicates you checked sophisticed phrases more often than simpler ones. This would be counter to a developmental model and might happen if many phrases are badly written or if you have over-estimated your capabilities.

    Your Most-Used Processes
Based on your response, these are your top three cognitive processes in use:

Ne : Interpreting situations and relationships; picking up meanings and interconnections; being drawn to change 'what is' for 'what could possibly be'; noticing what is not said and threads of meaning emerging across multiple contexts.
Fi : Evaluating; considering importance and worth; reviewing for incongruity; evaluating something based on the truths on which it is based; clarifying values to achieve accord; deciding if something is of significance and worth standing up for.
Fe : Connecting; considering others and the group—organizing to meet their needs and honor their values and feelings; maintaining societal, organizational, or group values; adjusting and accommodating others; deciding if something is appropriate or acceptable to others.

    Your Developmental Report
Your pattern of responses indicates a developmental level in each cognitive processes. Since this is experimental, this report may be in error.

    Ni,Ti
You are generally not aware of engaing in this process. You find it bothersome and unhelpful from others and question its value. You may mistake its use for something else. You may avoid or try to shut down situations that involve this process.

    Te,Se
You notice this process and enjoy when others use it but only occassionally find yourself engaging in it. You may marvel at others who do it very well. It doesn't appear useful to you personally and can annoy you if others use it too much.

    Si,Fe
You value this process as a helpful aid, even if you do not engage it that often. You trust it contributes to life, particularly when done by others who do the process well. You might recruit others to help you do this process for you.

    Fi
You actively use this process in your daily life as a useful tool or helpful aid. You could live without it but use definitely contributes to the what you do and who you are. You can work with others using this process, usually in a support role.

    Ne
You create value, aid others and get things done everyday using this process. You function well here, know all the ins and outs, strengths and limits of this process. You have made this process your own, something personal and unique to you.

These results have puzzled me...I really didn't think I was E in any shape or form. But I suppose Ne Fi (ENFP) is very similar to Fi Ne (INFP). Just because I am strong in intuiting doesn't mean I get energy from being around other people!

The whole theory is based off the idea that certain types process things in a fairly standard order of strengths. Your prefernces are apparently more common for ENFP than for INFP (or whatever type you believe yourself to be.)

If you believe yourself to be an introvert, than you probably are.

Yes I do think I am an introvert... I find it difficult to steel myself for going out to busy events, although often when i get back home I can be quite "buzzy" and excited if I've had a good time or some good conversation, but if I'm not in the right frame of mind I can find it very difficult to connect with people, and I often take an observer role or feel disconnected from what's going on. I do like to seek people out for chats quite often but on my terms, and I like being able to get away for some peace and quiet whenever I need to. I think I started off introverted as a child, then in my early twenties I was more extroverted - at university I used to love being the centre of attention (made a change as I didn't have many friends at school) but I think as I've got older and become a mum I've reverted to being more introverted again for some reason. Hmm! Very interesting!

There are some other possibilities here...

For instance, you could be right on the cusp of E and I. I am, and neither time alone or on "center stage" drains me.

I was also introverted as a child, it is not uncommon for types to change as you mature. Additionally, consider that maybe just getting older, and circumstances such as having a kid will slow you down. I don't recall ever seeing many elderly people in bars, or night clubs--that doesnt make them all introverts.

Possibly you are an extroverted person who has just slow down a bit, nothing wrong with that; it doesnt change who you are.

From the second link (I completed the test in the first link, but I didn't enter an ID, so it didn't show my result, grrr grrr)

    Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INFP

    Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Feeling (Fi): Staying true to who you really are. Paying close attention to your personal identity, values and beliefs. Checking with your conscience. Choosing behavior congruent with what is important to you.

    Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Intuiting (Ne): Exploring the emerging patterns. Wondering about patterns of interaction across various situations. Checking what hypotheses and meanings fit best. Trusting what emerges as you shift a situation’s dynamics.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ENFP, or ISFP

That's cool that I'm closer to ENFP or ISFP than other types, especialy ENFP

If these results are different from what you know of yourself, you might consider why your developmental pattern does not align with your expectation. You might also consider exploring this result as a possible better fit.

    The Four Temperaments
Corresponding best-fit temperaments based on your profile: Catalyst; secondly Improviser; then Theorist; and lastly, Stabilizer.

LOL, according to my cognitive functionionose, I must be FiNeNiSe

hEY I AM NOT ABLE TO OPEN THE LINK CAN YOU TELL ME ANOTTHER WAY TO REACH N THE SITE.

  7. #47

That's very odd, because the link still works for me when I just clicked it after reading your post, hm... very weird

    Code:

Try to copy and paste the link. If that doesn't work, there are always proxy servers.

Wtf. Both tests don't really match up :/ (What can this mean? Am I unstable, inconsistent? Who is stable anyways ! ^^)
Personally I like the first one a bit better, because it had more questions.

Some interesting results as usual... (:p)
    I'll keep it Short.

... I'm still convinced of being ISFP. possibly an adaptive one. can't fake being me though.

Hm, interesting. I decided to take the other test, and I got these results. Pretty cool!
