They gave me a score of 131. My parents had me take a legitimate IQ test when I was younger, but I was never told the results. It would be interesting to see those results compared to this one.

    xEmilyx thanked this post.

baaaah, they dont send me that email with the results... these bastards!

But guess Im below 100, becouse didnt understand the half, acutally... ^^

But made some german ICQ tests before (few years ago..) and scored 107 (with a range to 130), and on another (with a range to 150, if im right) I scored 116 (or something like that)
and well, think its in that area.
    A bit above average.. ;)

in real life it strongly depends on my mood how fast I understand things, but generally i understand abstract, theoretical things faster than others... but I really suck at the other, "realistic" stuff ;)

I'm off to Wikipedia to look it up again.
Don't hold me to the strictest definition on this one, but talent would be a matter of appraisal. The other intelligences apply across medium. e.g. Musically prodigious persons can play almost any instrument, well, without any training (formal or informal). Not to over specify, but MBTI trends would lean towards NFs being particularly good musically. Whilst abstract logical processes such as Mathematics and Visual-Spatial normally rank higher amongst NTs..

Ok, that was a rant, but I like the way it looks, so I am leaving it.

Intelligences in terms of Gardner's theory, and how that can be translated to standardised psychometrics, works on the grounds of aptitude, comprehension and habituation speed. Simply put, how fast the person becomes not only capable but also competent in any particular range.

The mind normally lateralises itself at a certain stage, and as development continues in a certain way: The probable result is areas becoming more developed than others, due to their use... Now I am shutting up.

    Yeah it's just a number.
I know I'm not book smart. I think it was all that lead I ate when I was small it was so sweet!

No worries, I range from 120 to 140, but I drive when the roads are icy (never doing that again!) and stuck my finger in light bulb sockets when I was twelve. I'm the stereotypical bookworm with no common sense.

The finger in the light bulb socket didn't feel so great. I never did that again.

I zapped myself in an outlet too! I was really young, and had my thumb in between the two prongs as i was putting them in

(I know it's one of my earliest memories, but I vaguely remember it feeling kind of good )

It may have just been the new experience, though. It was such a shock that I had no idea what happened for a few seconds.
