I dearly hope you were not implying that NTJs are anything like that cheap thinking college man or that all you need is a narrow interest set and medial knowledge of a subject to impress an NTJ. That would be very directly offensive. But I'm assuming you are, concerning the paralleling of your description of NTJ & NTP with the movie clip. Amuse me with your evidence.
My biggest pet peeve is someone constantly changing the topic every 10seconds.
IMO that is the easiest way to get to know an INTP, if you can talk to them about something for some length of time and without getting irrational then you will easily get into their good books.
Just be open minded. My Mother is a stereotypical ESFJ. The longest I've ever talked to her about something is around 30seconds, that is how long it takes for me to get a twitch in my eye from listening to what she has to say. After that point I find a way to get out of the conversation, if I listen to her for much longer it would be bad for my blood pressure.
Actually I wasn't lol. The only implication made was that in my experience, NTJs tend to be specialists while NTPs tend to be generalists. Other than that, I only paralleled Good Will Hunting with NTPs, drawing no conclusions about NTJ vs NTP. If you want to take offensive though, I'll certainly give you as many offenses as you want XD
Kehe nope, not offended. You were my experiment. Perfect opportunity. I met a man who's supposedly (E/I)NTP and when he is confronted with accusations of offending others he, instead of reasoning out that he was not intending to offend, he attacks the person. Kind of flips the arguement around to make the "offended" sound like the guilty party. Was wondering if this was a typical strategy? I suppose not. Was too much of a generalization. Thank you for participating. (xp increases by 760)
