I luv animals..
but my grandmother hates animal so much.. esp. cats..
i have once cry when she want to throw a kitten into the river >,< (she really sounds evil heh ^^)
So, I can never have a pet in my house..
the only pet that i have ever had is Fish! i love fish! many kinds of fish ^^

One of my grandmothers was that way, too, when she was alive. She hated all animals, especially cats, and wished harm upon them. My grandpa would shoot neighbors' cats with a pellet gun if they wandered into his yard. This is the same grandpa who used the poisoned snail bait around his roses and called my pet rats "filthy vermin," even though I kept their cages tidy, bathed them frequently, and cared for them well. I have trouble understanding how someone could hate animals or intentionally harm them.

I love animals, especially cats. Instead of human friends, I had animal friends, as a kid. I got along better with animals than humans anyway, and certainly better than with peers.

We currently have five dogs. One of them was a puppy I kinda rescued, so I'm a little attached to her.

I'll have to agree with you nightriser. When I was young we had to move around a lot and this resulted in little friends. My dog Bruno was the only one that I can talk to and play with at the time.

If I had to choose to be a particular animal species, it would be cat. They're so independant. (And sexy)
