Do you ever imagine you are another personality type?

One time when I was writing, I started seeing myself as an ENTJ. That feeling lasted a couple of minutes. Later on that evening, it happened again. Has there ever been a moment for you when you have imagined yourself being a different personality type?

If I ever get involved 100% in politics for real, I can imagine myself becoming ENTP.

    INFP - The Idealists

Sometimes ENFP, sometimes INTP, or less times ISFP, but that's only sometimes and probably because I am never 100% somthing. I have some personality traits of other types and sometimes I do use secondary functions instead of primary ones. I believe I am what I am most of the time, which is INFP. I'm never organised, so never something with a J.

Trying to remember, but don't think I ever have.

    INFJ - The Protectors

I am often told I am really an INFP because of my affect, and how I talk, and I am always late to things and I am disorganized and stuff. sometimes when I am writing I can really see that cause I don't bother to filter out the thigns I say or to fix typos or to try and make them sound better because if I go back to fix thigns and try to make them better I just end up writing and rewriting and rewriting until I am here for hours so I just keep going and then hit send rather than fall into a vicious circle. so people think I am lazy and stuff which are P qualities. but for me I know I am an INFJ because I identify with INFJ the most and I have INFJ cognitive functions which I just found out too. fe instead of fi which I thought was mine but it wasn't. but sometimes when I am writing I can definitely see that weird dreamy lazy quality in me a lot so I can definitely understand people thinking I am an INFP. especially since I am pretty naive and idealistic and stuff but I think that has to do wtih how I was raised than my personality type. I was prety sheltered as a kid so that's why. now it is like I am part of the big scary world and I am totally lost. as for the P thing I think I am a J because I prefer things to be organized and I attempt to be on time and I form conclusions rather than just taking in the situation. I'm not one to just go with teh flow, i like things to be planned and so on. I always form little plans in my head and then enact them when it's necessary and stuff. also most of the infj threads I identify with.

    INTP - The Thinkers

When I first started to be interested in the MBTI, I would get INTJ as a result, but I never really saw myself as much of a J, and when I really started to understand the MBTI better, I realised that I was an INTP. I don't believe I have ever imagined myself to have another personality type other than the one I identified as.

    INFP - The Idealists

I sometimes fantasize about being an ESFP. A couple of my friends are that type and they seem to have the best lives. They're fun, outgoing, everyone loves them and they seem to make the most of their youth. Sure, they can be attention whores and they can be shallow, but it all seems worth it for how much they get out of life.

    Absolutely!

before i fially came to the decision about being an INFP i spent 50+ hours on personality tests, never fully convinced i had enough information about my type, and one difference would throw me off course.

i dont typically fit into the stereotype INFP. I am not artistic, not a very good writer, except for poems, and have developed my tertiary functions very high, and although i find as much time as possible to be alone i have developed excitable and people loving behavior around others in social situations.

through practice im sure i could pass off as almost any type, but i am 98-ish% sure i am INFP.
