would you kill someone you love, for love ?

i'm curious as to how you'd do it, your reasonings for doing so. put in your own predicament if you must to help you answer.

take this question any way you'd like,
id like to make that very clear!

I'd take interest in anyone's opinions.

so here are my questions:
would you or wouldnt you ?
if yes, then what predicament must you be in to do so?
if yes how would you do it ?
if no, explain why you say no.

No, I would never kill someone, but if I would, I'd do it in the most humane way possible: push them down the stairs, and finish off with a blunt object if necessary.

Do you use morals as your reasoning not too ? or you just couldnt bring yourself to it?

In all honesty I think that it would be purely circumstantial, so it is a difficult question to answer. I would be willing to kill a person if said person was threatening to hurt or did harm the one I love to point of creating significant damage I suppose. If any lives around me were in danger of being lost for reasons I didn't believe was justified I would go for it.

I am an ISTP with a lot of NF.

I pretty much agree except I probably not do anything unless I were convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt. There're too many instances of some poor schlep being charmed by someone and manipulated into doing their bidding then the victim being betrayed and the charmer moving on to their next victim. That kind of stuff makes my already weak-Fi go absolutely crazy.

I totally agree! After I posted I was glazing over in front of the screen for about ten minutes thinking "Oh fuck what if that bitch just tricked my ass into catapulting some dude into the side of a building?!?"
...needless to say I might have visualized the situation too well :)

Depends

If the person(s) lives that I love were being threatened then hell yeah that sucker would die very painfully and I would make sure it hurt.
Would I kill for love pfft no I see those crazy ass ppl on the news doin all that crap for "love" like choppin stuff off or killin their gf/bf because the person is no longer in love with them , pretty dam lame and sad if ya ask me.

I don't think I would kill anyone for love! It's just immoral, no matter if it is your family/friend/lover only God has the right to take their life.
If your atheist, then that's a different story...

I would not consider myself atheist, but I would think of myself as spiritual (I make fun of people who say that go figure) I feel like I value life more than anything else I have come into contact with. It is immoral? Even from the perspective of guarding one you love or care for? If a murderer was intent on killing your lover, from a completely logical standpoint, one person would die and one would not. Would you rather it be the person you love or the person that is going to kill her? I understand this is a highly volatile subject, but millions have died in God's name. Is it still immoral?
I would like to add that I am questioning purely for the sake of conversation and understanding your perspective. Believe what you like.

My initial thoughts were 'God no! why would I do that?!', with images of some overly dependant murdery type killing the person they apparently love because they can't be with them, or something along those lines.

But then, if I know they're suffering from an incurable disease where living is no life, I could...consider it, I still think I'd find it incredibly hard though, if impossible. I can see myself living in a hazy, pain ridden existence, agonisigng over what to do, not making a choice. Whichever way incurrs the least discomfort of whatever sort for them. But this is just theorizing...maybe a cure would be round the corner...
