Correlation Between Mental Disorders and Type

I'm extremely curious as to whether there is a correlation between mental disorders and personality types. Feel free to tell me also your Enneagram type and cognitive style (Perceiver, Teacher, Mercy, Contributor, Server, Facilitator, Exhorter).

I'm an INTP, Enneagram type 5, and my cognitive style is Teacher. I have Major Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Attention Deficit Disorder.

It seems that nearly everyone is depressed, these days, and looking around at society, one can see why.
I have beaten this trend, long since, but it was a real battle.
I don't get depressed any more.
People think they need help with this, but really they don't.
They need to discover themselves, and then take responsibility for their outlook.

Usually INFJ, usually type 8, usually content and at peace.
    But not always :)

I'm an INFJ with autism (though this is not a mental disorder, it's neurological, but I thought I'd include it), bipolar, generalized anxiety disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, possibly OCD (diagnosed, but I'm not sure), avoidant personality disorder (diagnosed, but I'm not sure) and panic disorder (diagnosed, but I'm not sure). I've also gone through a lot of other diagnoses that have been overturned and I've been diagnosed with different things by different professionals -- autism, bipolar, PTSD, and GAD are the ones that stick.

My ENFP sister was diagnosed with autism. What a bunch of idiots. She's one of the sharpest kids in her little kindergarten class. She learns things in a second! I teach her simple mathematics all the time. It honestly won't be long before she's solving simple equations.

I wouldn't doubt that many Ns are falsely diagnosed with autism or things of the like.

I'm an INFJ with severe anxiety and depression. I was really in control of them for a while, but they've returned recently. I'm practising CBT on myself again :)

INFP 4w5 and I've had problems with depression and anxiety for years without relent. I also have some avoidant PD tendencies, but no official diagnosis.

Yes, I think too many people are being diagnosed these days...
It's a bit ridiculous if you think about it.
I think there are many reasons, some of which are quite obvious.
