    Similar/Different Types in Identical Twins

I'm curious to know if identical twins tend to have the same/similar/completely different types so if you are an identical twin, please add a reply! :)

I knew three triplets raised together with completely different personality types. One SJ, one SP and one NF (not confirmed, just a fair guess). Interestingly enough, they also had three unique blood types and were all different heights and IQ - lets see what people do with that...

I know a set of triplets, two identical and one not. The odd one out is an ES of some sort and the other two are an NT and NF respectively (the NT possibly an E but I'm not sure, the NF probably an I). That's on my personal observations of course, but ... yeah. Very little alike whether I'm right in my typing or not.

My roommate is an identical twin and they are supposedly ISFJ and INFJ. Close, but no cigar.

I know identical twins, one is ESFP, and the other if INFJ.

I know the Olsen's are both INTP though.

That is an awesome and fascinating question! The twins I have known have always seemed sort of similar to me but with minor differences - I never knew their types.

Well my identical twin sister (who's on here, laurie17) is an INFJ and I'm an ENTP (estp/enfp cross over). We grew up the same and did the same stuff, but even as a kid I was more outgoing and confident and always tried to win at everything and do everything first.
When I learnt to crawl my sister watched me make loads of mistakes and then did it perfectly XD
Aelthwyn, hmwith, countrycat335 and 2 others thanked this post.

I was an identical twin but she died at birth so I can't really offer any perspective. However my bets friend's sisters are fraternal twins. I don't know their personality types but they are extremely close bonded and one is more quiet and reserved while the other is more social.

I was just reading about how genetics affect our personality and apparently there were studies done of twins separated at birth who grew up with very similar personalities. I just wanted to see if it seemed to be true! :)
