    intertype relations -warning

There has been some discussions on intertype relations and best matches. It is very confusing because there are so many different views on how the types fit together. According to different sources, my type would match with ESFP, ISFP, INTP, ESFJ, ENFJ, ENTJ, ESTJ, ENTP and to a lesser degree INTJ. As an example I'll give the links here with ISFP matches. But you can look up your own type yourself.

Confusing? Yes! There are so many factors to consider in intertype relations, and different sources emphazise different things. Conclusion: maybe it's easier to just follow your heart?

If you have links to other intertype relations, with yet another view on this matter, please post them here.

    ISFP:s match well with...

    ...ESFP, ISFP, INTP(!), ESFJ

    ...ESFJ, ENFJ
    ISFP Relationships

    ...ENTJ(!), ESTJ

...ENTP, (but also ISFP and INTJ)
Relations of Duality between psychological ("personality") types

    INTJ - The Scientists

All the type 'matching' information I've read always seems to contradict one another, it makes me feel like their reliability is so flimsy. I'm supposedly good with ESTJ, but no, in another ESTJ and I are the worst match and ENFP is my best match. Sometimes I think they just want to try to give us a blanket answer for love when there isn't one, people are people and some work and some don't. I say go with your head (or your heart), and whatever their type, love 'em!

    INTP - The Thinkers

I personally think that similar types are probably better matches for each other, though I doubt that identical types are necessarily the best matches for each other. I'd say it depends largely on the person.
