    Exactly. Being unnecessarily rude causes conflicts. I don't like conflicts. People that are unhappy with me tend to attempt to find a way to oppose themselves with whatever I want to achieve, and it all just results in too much of my energy being wasted.

    We -or at least I, I've never personally met another ISTP- can be tactful, if we want to bad enough. It just takes obscene amounts of effort, and any reason to try is hidden behind the whole not-caring thing. If you can't take my opinions as they are, I don't care about what you think enough to try.
