How do you activate your Se?

Was wondering, how do you do it?

For me it is biking, the gym or walks in nature to get my Se moving and getting to take things in. I know without a doubt that exercise has helped me get out of the Ti-Ni loops so many countless times that i have lost count but maybe there are other ways to activate Se?

    So have at it!

How do you activate YOUR Se?

Very similarly. I go to the gym 3 times a week, sail in the summer, ski in the winter, and hike all year round. It is pretty much the only thing that breaks the Ti-Ni cycle. As a kid I didn't know about this loop, but I knew that if I got on my bike and cycled until my legs were so stiff that I had to fall off rather than step off, all was well.

Biking and nature do it for me as well, or sometimes walking or sitting on a busy city street or a bustling coffee shop. I used to bike every day when I was younger; some days I wouldn't come in until past dark. But I sprained my ankle pretty bad several years ago, and I got out of the habit of biking regularly, which I never got back into. I still do it sporadically, but no where as often as I would like.

As an an ESTP I think i've been stuck in a Se-Fe loop for a long time till recently when all of a sudden I suddenly rememberedthat I have Ti :p . As I did that, I felt much more grounded which makes sense since "being grounded" is related to live from within, aka using an introverted function. So If supposedly, the Extrovert breaking out of the First-Third function loop makes the person feel grounded I wonder what's the introvert version of that?

As for the OP, why not try to be in social groups and force yourself to interact with people more than you usually do?

It's the same, it creates a necessary, or more precisely healthy balance.

My Se activates when something very unexpected, unusual, or catastrophic happens to me or someone I care for. My Se is almost always accompanied with a shot of adrenaline, and the feeling is a high. I cannot, yet, force myself to activate my Se and adrenaline at the same time to the same degree to how my body/mind reacts to unexpected events. My Ti gets into the way and simply says "why the fuck are you doing this?"

Ruins everything. Im working to strenghten my Se.

@madhatter i forgot that part! Just walking at a fast pace around town and especially through old town and just taking in everything gets the Se going again and the worries of the world are no more! But the effect does not last as long as exercising

@pericles You are an Extrovert, i am an Introvert. Mindless chit chat and boring small talk is the death of me. I would rip off my ears if i ever was forced to endure that kind of torture. I do however hang out with quite a lot of people on a daily basis when i am in college and sometimes even go there just for that.

The reason for this topic was not since i am in a Ti-Ni loop, was just curious how other people achieve or activate it.

Sex was my favorite Se activity. But, since I'm not getting it as much as I once was, I'm looking for new ways to knock me out of brooding mode.
