    ISTP/ESFJ relationships

I'm pretty surprised that there hasn't been a thread on this coupling so I'm creating it.

So what do you guys think? Any experiences with ESFJs? How did that go? (This isn't limited to romantic relationships.)

I suppose I might as well toss out some questions (feel free to add in anything else I haven't asked about):

    1. What was your first impression of them when you first met them?
    2. What's your interaction like? A lot of hanging out? Joking around? Verbal Sparring?
    3. What's your favorite part about ESFJs?
    4. Least favorite part?
    5. What tends to cause miscommunication between you two?
    6. Overall impression of them?
    7. Insert any experiences with them that has left a deep impression in your mind.

I have an old friend who I'm pretty sure is an ESFJ..Although, he moved out of state many years ago so I don't see him all that often. (My siblings and I go to visits a couple of times a year) Regardless, we've been friends since we were babies so I can't tell you my first impression of him. XD When we're together, we usually hang out outside, joke around, play sports, play instruments, and etc. Usually, if the two of us decide to do something, the rest of our siblings and friends will join us.(We're both the more leaderly types...instigators). Most verbal sparring is usually us teamed up and aimed at other people.
Not sure about my favorite part, but my least favorite part would be the sensitivity. If something rubs off on him wrong, he starts acting offended and..erm...just starts acting difficult. I'm really bad at explaining these sorts of things. Beyond that, we're not around each other long enough to get into fights or seriously miscommunicate. (The longest I'll be around him is for a week straight).

Overall, we balance each other out pretty well and usually have a lot of fun hanging out. -shrugs-

My experience with ESFJ's has been they come across as friendly, selfless, loyal, outgoing, caring, hardworking people (bolded was obvious from 1st impression - I don't know any bad examples of ESFJ's). They're easy to get along with and be around in most situations - you can joke around, hang out, work or have a serious conversation with them. I haven't really had any issues with them and there isn't anything I particularly dislike about the one's I know.

A good female friend of mine is an ESFJ, and I had an ESFJ boss at one job I worked at, he was a pretty good boss.

ESFJs are usually pretty good to get along with, yes, but they get along well with almost anyone, and being a sensor helps.

My boyfriend is an ESFJ. Everyone tells us that we fit together but sometimes he feels like the female part of the relationship and gets all touchy about it. Then I just have to logic him out of it.
