uhm, most of those are actors or singers... That... however... doesn't compute o_O

Wasn't Alan Shepherd, the first american astronaut one also?
Also, why doesn't the list have any athletes or any dare devils?

That site seems biased towards hollywood :(

Only reason we're good at physical environment is because we unconsciously practice fiddling with it every day. Taking apart your pen, twirling it, in all of this we feel the weight of the pen, the center of mass, the length, friction. Then we know exactly how to use that pen and whose ass we can slide it up when we need a quick defense and getaway. We practice constantly and desire to perfect what we're currently enjoying, which means we just practice a lot. Bruce lee practiced constantly because he was backed by some phylosophical principles in his head and he probably felt he was changing martial arts.

What about Bear Grylls, from ultimate survivor? Yes, it's a tv show but his the star of it and he has been doing that kind of thing for almost all of his life.

I'm convinced he's an Introverted Feeler (IxFx) after watching an interviews of his and reading some of his quotes/profiles.

In the interview he talked about the common feeling, understanding, energy, support, compatability, values/ethics etc. within the team and coaching staff.

On his quotes page he says he plays "with a fear of letting people down. That's what motivates me.” and his other quotes seem to suggest he likes cares what people think of him (his public image), likes familiarity/normality and has perfectionist tendencies.

My educated guess would be ISFJ.

There can be a lot of action in cycling races, but they tend to be the sprints at the end. That's where the SP opportunists show up and do their thing.

But Lance Armstrong was not a sprinter winning single stages. He won whole tours. That takes planning and massive amounts of teamwork through all 20 stages, in addition to being the fittest athlete of the bunch.

That's why I reckon he's an INTJ, that ability to plan the whole thing in detail... the ultimate mastermind!

After all, not every INTJ is a computer geek.

quite a few istp description pages have lance armstrong listed as 'typical example' tho
When I first found out about mbti (three years ago) I thought I was INTJ, the ISTP/INTJ confusion is pretty common apparently, as they often have the same approach to their interests, but for different reasons: the INTJ wants to achieve a great goal in their field of interest and so finds out what has to be done, an ISTP loves what they do and can become so good at it that they get there anyway.

Arnie Schwarzenegger is often typed as an INTJ and I reckon I can see why.
