    ISTP Hobbies & Careers & Shoes

    Hello fellow ISTP's,

    Just curious about your favorite hobbies. Also, what is your career or desired career, or what is your college major? Finally, I am wondering about your clothing style.

    I'll kick things off...

    Hobbies

    * Playing with Computers, Internet and Programming
    * Snowboarding, ballroom dancing, rollerblading, horseback riding
    * Browsing at the bookstore, reading at the park, listening to rock music
    * Building things, tools, fixing things around the house and cars
    * Clay sculpture, gardening, arts and crafts projects



    Career / College

    * 9-5 job as a Computer Programmer (web application developer)
    * College degree in Liberal Arts - Communications
    * Side business as freelance web designer
    * Training/instructional writer

    Dress Code

    * Usually hippie or sporty
    * Comfy jeans, tank-top and sandals
    * Cargo shorts, t-shirt and sneakers
    * Casual hairstyle or ponytail
    * Not much make-up or jewelry

    listening to music
    play video games/computer
    martial arts (currently trying judo)
    sports (will try most things)

    Career/College
    In an Arts & Business program, plan on specializing in Digital Arts Communication
    Plan on working in recording.

    Dress Code
    Shorts, t-shirt & sneakers (any time of the year)
    Sandals
    Occasionally sweatpants
    Shaggy hair, never brushed.

    -Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing/ Bouldering, Running
    - Paintball every now and again...
    - Model Building.
    - Building/ Fixing things
    -Video Games/ computer work

    Music

    -Rock
    -Metal
    -Classical
    -Country

    Dress Code
    - Usually jeans and a teeshirt-perhaps a button down if I feel like it
    -Cargo shorts t-shirt
    -athletic gear

    Career

    -Bomber Pilot although I am going to be an ABM
    -Perhaps intel agent

    Major

    -Political Science

    hobbies:
    -computers (mostly gaming)
    -listening to music (from 20's swing to metal)
    if i had time i'd be back doing
    -reading, movies
    -playing bass
    -paintballing
    -pool
    and if i had money to spend i'd get a motorbike again

    career/education:
    degree in tourism
    BSc in telecommunications
    worked as librarian (music dept.) and
    counter rat (video games shop) i learned to hate customer service...
    currently machinist (lathe operator)

    dress code:
    black
    jeans/cargo pants, t-shirt, usually with a band logo (except when it goes below -20C -> long sleeve), hoodie.
    may experiment in t-shirt colors (gray, blue, red).
    very uncomfortable in suit and tie.

    shoes
    martens for winter and sneakers for summer

    Cooking
    Video games/computers
    Airsoft/guns/paintball
    Movies
    Listening to music
    If I had the money I would be riding a motorcycle
    Mountain biking (willing to try other sports)
    Spectator sports
    Camping

    Career:

    Currently working rotating nights and afternoons as a concierge (has its perks but i would rather be doing something else)
    Undergrad in marketing but now want to get into real estate

    Dress code:

    Jeans/cargo pants, t-shirt/button ups, and running shoes in warm weather.
    Pretty clean cut, but would like to try growing my hair long. However, this is a little difficult because of my current job.

    * Improving my manly physique.
    * Listening to music.
    * Reading books.
    * Probably other stuff.

    Career / College

    * Contractor constructiony stuff.
    * Indifferent student.

    Dress Code

    * Dark t-shirt and cargo pants.
    * Running shoes, work boots, or trail runners.
    * Not much make-up or jewelry

    Brilliant deduction. Why is that so surprising? Computers are fun to play with, manipulate and master, like any other mechanical tool or equipment. And video gaming should be a new Olympic sport. Yep, it appears that computers, music, sports, t-shirts and sneakers are common themes. Thanks for everyone's contributions so far.
