I know why I want to. Because ISTP's are not labored. They don't talk much, but when they say something it's so awesome that knocks me off my feet.

I was speaking to the poster. What I believe isn't being discussed. I stand up for what I believe in. However, the OP should know the level of difficulty in dating an ISTP.I can read about it all day long, but IRL it is far more complicated. That is what I was agreeing with.

It's because it goes without saying that everyone wants to date ISTP women.

Why are you calling yourself a dream killer?

I want to date an ISTP because I think it would change my life for the better.

Why? I'm not trying to destroy your idea, but I have yet to see how it would benefit you. In my experiance any relationship between ENFP and ISTP is going to be a lot of trouble, and extremely stressful for both parties. You may gain a little but chances are you will lose a heck of a lot more time and energy in return.

    We are life changers...

Though we do get a few ENFP females a week in here, asking us WTF is wrong with their boyfriend. So if you're up for a challenge, start looking for the reserved yet confident types.

I wouldn't want to date someone based just on personality type, there's a lot more to each individual. I can see how someone might come to the conclusion that a particular personality type would be beneficial for them to date, though.

I do, however, long to date a particular ISTP and I can tell you why. He is really direct, no games - I like the way he communicates a lot. He's intelligent, funny, interesting. He does stuff - as in, has his work, his hobbies, is active with them. He's flexible, understanding, perceptive, and... sweet - if you look at actions for what they are, i.e., don't read into them, don't try to assign more meaning than there is, and don't expect things to (un)necessarily be said. To me, this is really sincere.

Also, I like thinkers. They balance me out, bring me back to reality. I've got enough annoying emotions for the both of us.

I do know it would be challenging, but all of the above would make giving it a shot worth it to me.

Alas, it will probably never happen with this one. But, yeah, you guys are pretty awesome.
