    ISTP's role in group settings

ex) idk. um the one who always disappears without telling anyone in the middle of hanging out when sees something more interesting.

The one whos watching every one, then might crack a joke to the friends they came with....then get bored and go outside/away.

The cool, nice one that doesn't take part in long, witty conversation but has a good observation from time to time and is very useful for practical/technical ideas and solutions.

interject with a one-liner that is hilarious

be completely attentive and active in a conversation about something of my interests then staring off into space observing the room when the subject turns to something uninteresting to me

watching/observing the surroundings of my group

start doing something or moving when everyone else is locked down trying to talk out a decision

arriving and leaving the group at any time with no prior notice

In a casual group, I'm the listener and the one who laughs a lot. Sometimes if I can contribute something to the conversation, I get all excited and go all out. If I can't, I stay quiet, listen, and laugh.

In a project group, I'm the facilitator and makes sure everyone is involved with the project somehow. I'm always the one who can quickly obtain resources and hand out the necessities to everyone. If I can contribute, I do the best I can. If I can't, then I'll find out what I can do to at least not seem like a complete slacker.

The one who stares off at a distant building because the architecture is much more interesting than your conversation.
The 6ft 4 friend who can dissappear at will, only getting a text 20 minutes later saying "when did you leave?".
The person in the corner facepalming at the overwhelming stupidity.
The one who solves a problem as soon as it comes up, but decides to wait just to see if anyone else thinks of it.

I'm so shit drunk than I am the group.

Otherwise I'm just there and probably dying of boredom.

I'm the one who arrives late and leaves early.

The one curiously smiling and staring at other people while they are talking, thinking "human kinds are so dumb :)"

The one that doesn't understand why the hell he/she should text back.

Hmmmm....I'm the one observing and commenting on the stupidity of others. Usually, I make the group laugh with said observations.
