    ISTJ - ESTJ Relationship

I know the relationship could last, coz none of us would want to be the one who leave the other.

But are we really compatible? Can we be a great couple?

While I am not qualified to answer that from a MBTI perspective, I am about as far away as I can be from the two, I think any "type" can work with one another. It really depends on the individual. It may take a lot of work, but it is doable. On the plus side, if neither of you would want to be the one to leave, it means that you will not split at the first bump in the road, and be more likely to work out your differences through compromises or simply avoiding the trouble spots, if possible.

Hope everything works out for you and mystery ISTJ.

Haha... I never said anything about me with any ISTJ.

You Perceivers, always come up with wrong conclusions.
    (alright, not always, just often)

Nah you just think we do ;)

Honestly I think it can work. But if they are both High J then it may lead to trouble. That goes for any types with 2 high J or High P. You need to have some balance.

This sounds like it would work....

    BUT

It probably would end up being a very complicated relationship. Like you said, neither would want to leave the other. This may sound stereotypical, but most of the ESTJ's I have come across have a very "controlling" attitude/side to them, but that is male ESTJ's. I don't believe I have ever met a female ESTJ.... Any relationship can work as long as both people WANT it to work and are willing to make some sacrifices.

More than likely both XSTJ would need to have to have the same morals and core values. But I guess this is true in any relationship- regardless of type.

Yup! But like I said, if we both had the same values and such it could work.

I DO BELIEVE they could be quite awesome together.
ESPECIALLY if their E/I gap isn't too large.
ESPECIALLY if the share goals (then their Js will less likely clash)
ST + ST = no problem, me thinks.

Honestly, knowing the ESXJs that I know... they could work a relationship out with ANYONE simply because they're such relationship-focused people. (of course the receiver would need to appreciate that) They're also ASTOUNDINGLY altrustic and very eager to share their joys. That's the only way they function, it seems. And they're just so darn productive..... Which MBTI type would actually mind that in a long-term relationship?

HEART! Everytime I think about you guys I feel so... in awe. LOL.

So... well also, to these types of questions I guess I want to say it could be GREAT or NOT-SO-GREAT depending on goals & choices.

same goals + choosing to be positive (which estjs are good at) = lots of love and happiness for anyone with ESXJs (from my limited observations) Sorry for not having much to say about ISTJs, I'm not confident enough to pinpoint anything about them yet.

SJs are reported to have the best chance of a happy relationship when paired with other SJs, so I'd guess this ISTJ/ESTJ coupling could be very good.
