Well, what exactly are you asking or hoping to find? Yes, ISTJs are generally more practically minded than INFPs.

Could you rephrase your question? I'm not clear on what you're asking.

I added some more questions. I think they are more clear. Thanks!

Actually, there a lot of threads about INFP and ISTJ relationships.

Do you mean romantic relationships, or as friends?

I'll have to find some of them.

EDIT: Here's some threads on the topic, but there are probabaly many more threads on the issue than I am posting.

I'm an ISTJ and I know this INFP who was totally into me and I couldn't really bring myself to like her because she used being weak to draw attention to herself, while I am independent and don't do things for other people. I don't want a slave.

She started a relationship with this INTP I know who is hyper-arrogant, insane and domineering. I'm confident, but this guy is nuts and everyone else around her can see it, except her. It's pretty sad, how can I like someone who is so weak?

Anyway, that's just my experience, yours could be completely different.

    Both. She posted here before.
But I thought it was @sparkles who posted here before. So it's a different person with a similar name?

Oh man. I got confused for a moment when I opened the thread too. Sparkles and Sparkle are two different people, both having posted at least one thread about ISTJ relationships in the past. Interesting.

@Sparkle - Could you please post some more details about your relationship to your boyfriend? What are your love languages? Do you respond well to words of affirmation or actions? Would you like him to talk more often about his feelings and what he's thinking? What kind of conflicts do you run into? Is he responsive to your needs when you express them to him?

These questions aren't exhaustive but tend to cover a decently wide spectrum of ISTJ relationships. Feel free to post away.
niss and Yardiff Bey thanked this post.
