One of my friends is ISTJ and from memory I think she may have like three or four female friends compared to a much wider circle of male friends.
Male. 10 char
I spend a lot of time with males being an engineering major, but they are just acquaintances/friends. All of my close friends, and those I spend most of my time with, are female.
For me, males are like a vacation from home. They're very enjoyable to hang out with and I have cravings to hang out with them, but if I did it all the time I would start to miss home (female friends). However, one of my closest friends right now is a guy. There are things he tells me that I don't think he tells other people. Not a lot, but a couple of things.
I think I am a guys girl though. I love video games and football.
I prefer to hang with guys more but I do have some female friends I love chillin with when we have time

Doesn't matter to me. They both are fun if you know how to deal with them.
For me, the best and most satisfying friendships are with girls, but rare to come by, while guys are generally easier to get along with and be "friends" with than girls but it's more superficial, although more easygoing.
Currently I'm hanging out with some girls because I have never approached or been approached by any guys. I think having guys as friends is great because they don't have so much drama.
When I was younger (college age into my 30s), I always had far more male friends. I always found them much easier to understand. Now that I'm more mature (and presumably have more balanced personality,) it's about 50-50.
