And how do I know this, you ask?

I had a job interview today. One of the interviewers could have been Anthony Hopkins' brother. He had the same stare-into-your-soul blue eyes as and he kept leaning forward and not wavering his eyes from my face AT ALL. I lost my cool and kept trying to look at anything else in the room but HIM. And the more nervous I got the more he sat there immobile, not even moving his eyes.

If I get this job he'll be my boss.

    Yes, Sparrow. }:)

Oh no! My embarrassing secret is out. I am typing this with a pencil in my mouth, which means I'm dribbling on the keyboard too.

Which makes me wonder how I wipe my butt.
Rant: Why can't I come up with a retort to this? Is it lack sleep? No I have a retort, a couple of them actually, I am just too much of a gentleman to use them.
    I concede legs.

Rave: I got a new phone! Now it's time to start knitting the case.

Rantish: I lost one of my needles. Oh, well, I guess I'm going to have to use another pair.

Actually, making stupid complaints and laughing at myself for being silly helps me deal with the hard stuff. IRL I'm intensely private and don't like to discuss my problems, not even with my friends. Being silly gets my mind off of things and helps me stay social.

Rant: My church did VBS last week, and the more time I spent around these kids, the more jealous of them I became. Their most important problems are things like "she has more crayons than I do" and "I'm out of crackers." I wish I was still 5 years old, or at least that I could be for a little while.

    Rave: Hot Pockets.
niss, MBTI Enthusiast and Yardiff Bey thanked this post.
