Well, you can use the exact same approach Niss gave actually. Giving examples of the behaviour is fine, it's not what you say, it's how you say it. However, try not to nit pick every situation in the past. It's better to tell someone from the start they are doing something 'wrong' instead of waiting until the 5th time.
Niss is right in saying that we want to be heard. Mostly when people have given me criticism they want me to just say sorry and be done with it. They have decided I am wrong and that there couldn't be any other possibility. If it's clear to me that I was wrong I will say sorry, but if what I did was misunderstood I would like the chance to explain myself and then 'we' can discuss it from there.
