EDIT: I guess the title should actually say "Go as planned" as opposed to "Go your way".
First i'll start off by saying that i'm not trying to stereotype anyone or anything i'm just want to understand how other types think. 2 of my best friends are ISTJ so i'm very curious to know more about you guys.
That being said i'd just like to know what goes through your minds when something doesn't go according to plan:
Myself and my male ISTJ friend were trying to find a Denny's yesterday and told me to try to find one closer than the one he found on the website ('cause we both thought there was one in the city right next to us which is Newcastle) **also I should point out that he has a gps and we were finding addresses** and I found one (in Newcastle) that later turned out to have been closed for a few years. So we decided to go to one that was in Newark the next city over. All the while he was acting like it was this HUGE deal and I found it funny/odd because in my mind it wasn't. We would have been going about the same distance regardless because it was 12 miles from his house to the one in Newark and it was about 8 miles from the closed Denny's to get to the one in Newark. So we didn't waste any gas which really wasn't even the issue and we had a GPS! So there was like NO REASON at all to even worry the slightest bit.
We've had other situations like that too where when the plan changes the slightest bit I easily change my expectations and don't see it as an issue but he get's stressed.
So i'm curious as to why you guys think that is or what about changes in plan do you guys not like.
