[quote=Trauma;519106]I was going to post my opinion but I would just be an echo, but I must say that you seem a mess. You say that you agree with everyone but you then say that you intend to go against all the advice you asked for. [quote]

    mbti lesson 101:

this is a T logic based objective (good of the whole regardless of self) response responding to an F emotion based subjective (good for self regardless of whole) response.

Just wanted to point that out...one way to pick up on a T vs F

**note: conservatives normally come from a objective point of view and liberals a subjective point of view

It takes time....I have messed around with this since I did a stint for the police department back in 2000. That is where I first learned about it.
Now...I can pick up a lot by type. Some people are a challenge...others, not so much.

Yeah I sort of laughed to myself when I read your post Trauma, because at that moment I had felt like a mess and I came across as one, but that whole post was more of a thought process than a conclusion. I was thinking outloud "I agree, but..." and trying to organize my thoughts and feelings by writing them down. As an F and a P I keep my options open as long as possible, look at things from every different side, come to about 20 different conclusions and then eventually decide to do something completely different. I know this indecisiveness is really irrirating to TJs. But yet if I didn't go through the whole process I'd never decide anything at all. So, all your replies have been very helpful because it's like throwing tons of information at me which hits me like a wave, and then I kind of let it all settle for a while, and then suddenly the answer floats out at me with clarity and then I know what I have to do. I think what people find confusing is when I say "I think I'll do blahblah", and then two days later I say "Actually I think I'll do blahblah", ... and the reason I do that is because I'm testing myself - i say "I think I'll do blahblah" to see if it feels right afterwards, and if it doesn't then I have to change my mind again..

Anyway, thank you all very much for your help! :) If I'm honest I still haven't actually come to any decisions, but at least I feel like you've given me things to consider and I feel like I can see the situation a bit more clearly and a bit more objectively.

AAAGGGHHHH!!! I knew that ENFPs think out loud through their problems, which is extremely annoying. But I had never considered that they type out loud through their problems in a forum.
