Do you know any INFJs?

How do you feel about them?
How do they make you feel?

I know one for sure...though I would have pegged him as an INTP or INTJ for a while. He's a really great guy but he's definitely got a mysterious side. He has bits of depression every so often but always bounces back, never really sure of what got him down.
As far as I can tell the biggest difference from me, the ISTJ and him is what he and I discussed once last week. He makes decisions quickly and then later really evaluates the emotions behind it and how everything was effected. However I can be slower on making important decisions, but once I have I am resolute and feel I put enough thought into it that things will go as they should.
Other than him I'm not fully aware of an INFJs in my life, though there probably are a few. I hope that was something like what you were looking for...![]()
There aren't any.
I know of one person that I suspect strongly to be an INFJ, but I am not 100% sure.
I do know that I would think of them as I do others. I enjoy the company of anyone that is mature and emotionally healthy.
I wouldn't say that any type makes me feel any way, particularly.
My mother is an INFJ, although I must admit I am not all that familiar with what constitutes such a person.
We both get along very well and have had many conversations about things intellectual in nature, which she really enjoys. I have no doubt that she is a very caring person (one cannot be in any doubt about that lol!) with only the best of intentions. Like me, she occasionally comes up as an INTJ, which might be a further reason as to why we both have abstract/intellectual streaks. Additionally she is highly imaginative and creative and loves to write. I think it is true to say that she sometimes makes rash decisions without considering the long-term ramifications (which is a primary focus of mine).
I think as the article I'm reading just now about this type indicates (Everything2 Know about the INFJ), she can take on too much work and thus, wear herself thin. I fear also that her caring nature can be abused by my siblings. I have said to her in the past that I think that they are taking advantage of her goodwill, which was met with a stunned looked then a smile and dismissive laugh - although I reckon she would have given it more thought later on! I guess as she is an INFJ and I am an ISTJ, I can't really relate to her taste in furniture or imaginative aspects, as I like things functional/old-school and have a firm affinity with reality rather than bathing in the (fetid lol) waters of creativity or escapism. I think she finds it difficult to take a hard line on certain things or should I say people! I frequently don't mind going to war with people if I think there is something wrong that should be righted! Stuff confrontation avoidism - it doesn't address problems lol!
I would say that, understandably, she has been a considerable influence on my life and has helped shape some of my tastes and of course my interest in learning/absorbing information. I actually wouldn't mind getting to know a lady INFJ my age, I think in a number of respects (e.g. fondess of order, work ethic, etc.) it would be a very interesting match.

Two of my good friends are ISFJ's and my daughter is an ISFJ as well.
The short answer: we are very similar in how we arrive at conclusions; however, the ISFJ's (at least in my experience) tend to second-guess their decisions for fear of hurting someone else's feelings. These three are all very considerate and gentle people.
Edit: I totally read the question wrong. Ignore the above. That's what I get for trying to multi-task and reply to the board posting while I'm here at work.

INFJ's. OMG that's me!
Mysterious + Depressive = sounds like me.
"He makes decisions quickly and then later really evaluates the emotions behind it and how everything was effected."
I do this too. I make decisions quickly because I tend to go with my gut instinct
and afterward I typically over-analyze every little detail.
I worry too much. I think too much.![]()
I think it's interesting that you both test as INTJs once in a while.
Maybe you have a strong 'N' and she has a well-developed 'T?'
Aww, you read an article on INFJs!
"...she can take on too much work and thus, wear herself thin.

This sounds a lot like my mom (INFJ).
My sisters still take advantage of her but since she is a selfless mother
she just does whatever is asked of her.

I know exactly what you mean. I've noticed these differences between me and the ISTJs in my life.
Also I am unconventional while they are not.
I used to be more of a wimp
but life has taught me that the best thing to do is to stick up for oneself.
Otherwise you end being mistreated and feeling worse than if you hadn't done anything.
I do mind going to war but I am willing to do it if something must be righted.

This is so sweet!![]()
