Pretty straight forward actually, how do you feel that people have been insensitive to you?

Perhaps judging you by the way you LOOK without even speaking to you, etc..

I've gotten people asking/ordering me to do things (which would change how my day was planned) without asking if I already had something planned.

Trying to not copy @the_natrix word for word here, but I've had people who tell me about plans for the day that I must be a part of.....with again no regard to *my* plans for the day. I could cite many examples, but hopefully I've gotten the idea across.

YES, both of you have, and thank you....That happens to me as well, they assume I will change my plans to meet theirs without them even asking if I am busy already....

Happens all the time. Usually I end up having to change mine because the guilty parties gang up and run to the boss when I make a stand. While it obviously irritates me, there are a few things that I try to keep in mind:

    1. I don't work 24/7, and my "off" time belongs to me.
    2. ISTJ's generally don't like change anyway, and I try to keep this in mind when I'm ready to grind my teeth again.
    3. I am fortunate to have a job in this economy.

That is sad...I can relate. When I was in the corporate world I was the "dependable one", every one else could actually take sick time and vacation time....but not me... Now that I'm self employed I could see the same pattern starting so Friday after noon till 7:30 a.m. I no longer answer my phone, it can go to voice mail, unless it is an emergency like a website is messed up or down....

I worked weekends and Holidays for over 25 years...this year all of that stops...

I have two things that seem insensitive to me: (1) same as many have said here; the assumption that I should just hop on board with the plan of the majority and (2) Calling me "difficult" or "obstructionist" in a conversation simply because I like to explore various points of view (playing devil's advocate and "what if" scenarios". I find it extremely insensitive when the person in the conversation things I should simply agree.
