    10 questions for you ISTJ's

I have created a small set of questions that I am very interested to see answered. I will be posting these for ALL types, eventually, but right now I am only posting these for the dominant sensors, that is, ISTJ, ISFJ, ESTP, ESFP.

Please only answer if the forum matches your type. I will be using the answers as inspiration for a project I am working on, which will be unveiled in due time. If you are unsure, please don't answer. If you want to elaborate on an answer, feel free.

    The questions:

    1. If you could anthropomorphize yourself into an animal, would animal would represent you?
    2. Name an accomplishment that you are proud of
    3. List some skills/hobbies/past-times that come naturally to you.
    4. If you where given free reign to create a law that would then be passed and implemented, what law would you create?
    5. What would you consider to be your greatest weakness, attribute, or vice?
    6. Do you happen to have a particular "draw" or "attraction" to some type of idea(s) that you have held onto since childhood? (Medieval Times, Nature, Magic, Trucks, Love, Marriage, Family, Church, The occult, Outer Space, etc) Essentially looking for a common thread throughout your entire life, something you have always been attracted to. What are they?
    7. Of these four ideas, which resonates with you the most: Earth, Air, Fire, or Water.
    8. What fictional/mythological character(s) do you feel represents you the most?
    9. What is your favorite color?
10.Name your most prized possession and why.

Note: I wanted to mention that no answer is a wrong answer, so long as it is answered truthfully. So "I don't believe in laws" or "I feel this is a loaded question" is just fine, so long as the answer is genuine. Please don't be a troll. = )

    Ooh, I love these things!

    1. If you could anthropomorphize yourself into an animal, would animal would represent you?

*pokes at username* When I was in elementary school, I created a creature that I called the "owfin", a combination of a owl and a dolphin. The combined traits of the two fit me rather well. As for a real world animal, I gotta go with the crow.

    2. Name an accomplishment that you are proud of.

Becoming a good conversationalist and outgoing in less than a year's time!

    3. List some skills/hobbies/past-times that come naturally to you.

    • Latin (maybe just language in general)
    • Photography and graphic design (I like to say that I have a good eye and a bad hand)
    • Memorizing facts (I almost never have to study)
    • Comedy, especially creating terrible puns
    • Analysis and picking stuff apart

    4. If you where given free reign to create a law that would then be passed and implemented, what law would you create?

Urgh, that's a hard one. I'd feel worried about my competence. Maybe some sort of light pollution edict. I hate that I can't see any stars where I live, and I have visited cities where they have regulations on light pollution and the sky is simply amazing. Plus, it makes the lights more efficient.

    5. What would you consider to be your greatest weakness, attribute, or vice?

    Cowardice.

Meta stuff! I love reading about character archetypes or even reader archetypes and about how you can classify and divide a group and just play around with it! As you can guess, I adore TV Tropes.

    7. Of these four ideas, which resonates with you the most: Earth, Air, Fire, or Water.

Air. I can be quite wavering and identify the most with the intellect.

    8. What fictional/mythological character(s) do you feel represents you the most?

Twilight Sparkle. She is nearly EXACTLY like me. If you want to know what I'm like in real life, everybody, Twilight Sparkle is a good approximation.

    9. What is your favorite color?

Brown if it's combined with cool colors, green standalone.

10.Name your most prized possession and why.

My computer. It's a treasure house of stuff and I spend so much time on it.

    1. If you could anthropomorphize yourself into an animal, would animal would represent you?
I've always really liked wolves. Not only are they majestic and strong but they're also group animals. And I've always been a huge dog person, including doing dog 4-H for a large portion of my schooldays.

    2. Name an accomplishment that you are proud of
Although this accomplishment was bound to happen due to the track I had taken, I am still proud of being principal chair of the cello section in my last two years of youth symphony.

    3. List some skills/hobbies/past-times that come naturally to you.
Playing the cello, reading, playing video games, working with dogs, and to some extent dancing.

    4. If you where given free reign to create a law that would then be passed and implemented, what law would you create?
That's a tough one. I'm definitely interested in politics enough to have some opinions. But if I was too pick something that wasn't controversial but has always bothered me, I think there should be a fence rule. That is, if you're going to own a dog then you have to either A. build a fence for the yard that it will be in or B. be in a circumstance where your dog doesn't go outside without a leash anyway. It's safer for the dog because then they won't be accidentally run over, kidnapped, or who knows what else. Also, it's unfair to other owners when either their dogs are harassed on their own property by wandering dogs or when they're walking their dogs and neighborhood dogs threaten to attack them just for being on the edge of their owner's property.

    5. What would you consider to be your greatest weakness, attribute, or vice?
Either worrying too much or getting angry too much.

Maybe psychology? Especially social psychology/personality I remember thinking about going into psychology as early as 15. I also remember one of my teachers from the 7th grade saying how he's observed us and says we always sit in the same spots everyday. That fascinated me.

    7. Of these four ideas, which resonates with you the most: Earth, Air, Fire, or Water.
I'm not sure how to answer that question. Um... water is prettiest? I guess I like water the most, because of how it looks and feels.

    8. What fictional/mythological character(s) do you feel represents you the most?
There's plenty of fictional characters who I feel represent me. I try to find the character I can relate to in the story fairly often. One character in particular that comes to mind is Raine from the game Tales of Symphonia. She's the voice of reason and usually the one who will go against what the rest of the group thinks. While they are more driven by emotion, she goes more by the facts. However, while she will usually bring up her opinion she will not stop the group from doing what they want to do. She may say something to show her displeasure, but doesn't really bring up much of a fuss. I also like how she'll randomly be completely unreasonable, like becoming a complete fangirl over something she's obsessed about or becoming extremely nervous when they have to go onto a boat. I feel like I can relate to a lot of that pretty well.

    9. What is your favorite color?
    Purple

10.Name your most prized possession and why.
My teddy bear. I know it sounds silly but I've had it since i was one. My computer is also very important though.

    1. If you could anthropomorphize yourself into an animal, would animal would represent you?
I would be a Panda. I'm easy going, lazy, and cuddly. But if you mess with me I can, and maybe will, get mean.

    2. Name an accomplishment that you are proud of
I've gotten an A in every class I've taken so far in college (second year computer engineering major)

    3. List some skills/hobbies/past-times that come naturally to you.
Video games, working on cars, reading, going for walks, anything mechanical. I like working with things that have motors.

    4. If you where given free reign to create a law that would then be passed and implemented, what law would you create?
30 hour work week. 40+ hour work weeks are excessive and are less productive.

    5. What would you consider to be your greatest weakness, attribute, or vice?
My fear of change. I deal with change so badly, and it has created quite a few problems in my life. Some of my relationships have been affected by my extreme fear of change in a negative way. Sometimes I wish I could just roll with the punches better.

I've always been attracted to medieval times and demons/magic. I always wanted to be someone that traveled around from village to village on a quest to save the world. It wouldn't hurt to be a wizard either.

    7. Of these four ideas, which resonates with you the most: Earth, Air, Fire, or Water.
I've always been attracted to fire, even when I was little. There is just something about fire that seems powerful and controlling.

    8. What fictional/mythological character(s) do you feel represents you the most?
Maybe Perrin from the Wheel of Time series. He is slow to act because he thinks about his actions before he does anything. He is cautious and wary most of the time, but can also defend himself and others when he needs to. I think he represents me quite well.

    9. What is your favorite color?
    Red.

10.Name your most prized possession and why.
My Camaro. I mowed yards for 6 years between 5th grade and junior year of high school to buy it. I've created so many great memories that revolve around that car in the past 3 years, and I don't know what I'd do if I ever wrecked it or had to sell it.

I'd say Fire. I associate it with conflict and dialectics, since both burn away what's superfluous and make shine what remains.

    8. What fictional/mythological character(s) do you feel represents you the most?

Fictional: Huge tie-in between Dana Scully, Javert and Yevgraf Zhivago.
    Mythological: Probably Anubis or Xolotl.

    9. What is your favorite color?

    Navy blue.

10.Name your most prized possession and why.

My computer is the most useful possession I have, since it semplifies a lot of things to, especially in studies. But, when it comes to emotive value, I think it's a picture of me with my grand-father.

(Medieval Times, Nature, Magic, Trucks, Love, Marriage, Family, Church, The occult, Outer Space, etc) Essentially looking for a common thread throughout your entire life, something you have always been attracted to. This is such an iNtuitively-biased questionnaire, but I'll play along.

    1. If you could anthropomorphize yourself into an animal, would animal would represent you?

I like being a human. I can't really of think of any animal that sounds appealing.

    2. Name an accomplishment that you are proud of

    No criminal record.

    3. List some skills/hobbies/past-times that come naturally to you.

Taking something complicated and phrasing it succinctly.

    4. If you where given free reign to create a law that would then be passed and implemented, what law would you create?

I'm not really interested in hypothetical situations. We have enough laws as it is.

    5. What would you consider to be your greatest weakness, attribute, or vice?

An attribute is neutral by its very nature. It's not in the same category as a weakness or vice. Semantics aside, I'll say "laziness".

    6. Do you happen to have a particular "draw" or "attraction" to some type of idea(s) that you have held onto since childhood?

I've always loved learning how things work.

    7. Of these four ideas, which resonates with you the most: Earth, Air, Fire, or Water.

More of this hippie mumbo-jumbo . I'll say Earth... solid, unmoving, and boring .

    8. What fictional/mythological character(s) do you feel represents you the most?

No one. I'd say Nixon, but he wasn't fictional .

    9. What is your favorite color?

I don't have a single favorite, but I do like black, white and blue.

10.Name your most prized possession and why.

My computer. It has the means to both connect to the world and detach from it.

    Ok, that's done.
