i have been dating an intj for the past three years.
alot of communication is needed to keep the relationship going... but the thing with that is i dont talk alot.
its easier is cyber world to open up- idk any of you and can walk away. (i havent always been this way)

has anyone else had issues with their personality partners?

I'm currently dating an ISTP. I do lots and lots and lots of thinking about the future, making plans, and I want things settled and planned and scheduled so I know what I'm doing. He's very much about worrying about the current minute and not too much beyond that. That can be fun at times.

I've dated a INTJ he did talk a lot considering he was a Introvert. But it was about his scientific discoveries and job. He was a chemist. I still have a crush on him.

maybe. but he dumped me. he said we were both in different stages in our lives. I cried. and became very sad. Now I don't trust men. And I really want to be alone for a while.

that is really awesome that you know that and are acting on it. i have friends that try and force themselves into a relationship forthe sake of being in a relationship. it only ends up with broken feelings. i hope that you find someone alot more compatable.

This is pretty much why I've avoided dating. My communication skills aren't the best, and since I'm still in school (1st year university) I know that that the chances of the relationship actually lasting aren't that great, so there's all that emotional stuff to deal with when it's over. As an ISTP, emotions aren't my strong point so I'm just waiting till I'm ready (plus I enjoy my freedom).

I'm dating an INTJ and he's very, very private. I almost feel like I am constantly chasing him. He's an incredibly emotional, loving guy, but he keeps it all inside a lot.
